1.
Yes, yes, I know its not on for several hours yet but i thought Id be cheeky and start a pre emptive thread as JH shows always seem to raise discussion.
Well, I'll be full of Cava by then, Kylie and Roger Daltrey are on so it's safe to say I'll enjoy it to the full. I always nearly do.

3. NOW SOLD Squier Vintage Modified Fretless Jazz. You probably all know what you need to know about this one. Strung with Rotosound TruBass flats. The only other point to note is some marking on the headstock, this is two small screw holes where a Fender logo was screwed on for a photoshoot - no, I can't explain that either. EDIT: I've checked it out on the Alembic Club website and it's definitely mahogany, info request here Alembic Club - Spoiler Info Request
5. This weeks list is currently: Fender Marcus Miller Jazz Hofner Club Bass (Contemporary Series) Gibson Thunderbird Gibson Les Paul Bass Ibanez Musician Fender Telecaster Bass DiPinto Belvedere Deluxe (Black & White one especially) Schecter Model T Fender Precision Elite Burgundy Mist Fender Vintage Fender Precision Unfortunately have to sell before I buy and I've been far too lazy to get any sales threads together (perhaps I should make a resolution this tear)
6. ...and me again. Another super smooth deal for a couple of fretless books
7. Belated feedback for Dan and it's all good. Bought a trumpet off him for my son, a good deal allround and very easy to deal with. Another of the good guys.
8. A lot of the above has tickled me but not as much as this quote from T.M.Stevens, 'John Entwistle told me, “All you guys play this widdly-woo stuff I can’t play, but I’ll be remembered forever because I play songs.”' Each to their own but I'd take his tone anytime from 1969-86 over any widdly-wooer current or deceased.
9.
My dear old Mum says that I'm the best
She also says I'm the best...but context is everything
10. (To paraphrase Viv Stanshall) I'm rubbish. But at least I'm British rubbish
11.
Thanks Mart. The only reason I'm selling is because I've never used them and I'm looking for shelf space.
PMd
12. Can I ask what screw terminals you use? I'm toying with rigging up something similar for my old build.
13. Will have words with Mrs Santa once she's got the best part of a bottle of red down her tonight (Kids, obviously Mrs Santa doesn't really drink it's just Uncle Deaver being silly again)
14. OBMM? Does he make cables? You bet your boots he does. Websites here http://www.bassic-bits.co.uk/
15. Lovely fella. Completed a 5 string trade this afternoon and chewed the fat over tea for a couple of hours. With a bit of luck we'll be meeting for beers when he's down this way again. All round good Basschat stuff and as pleasant a deal as you could wish for.
16. Hello Rob, I think your work is already appreciated on here. Wouldn't worry too much about the rules, they're fairly fluid
17.
well, thats gonna help sales. buy a marshall if you want to walk around with a cock in your mouth. sovtek comes with russian valves made in a munitions factory. still, i'd rather have a marshall and make my living rubbing my dad off a tenner at a time.
Gentlemen, I fear we have a guitard in our midst
18.
"I ain't gettin on no stage, fool."
Me likey
19. Included for the weirdness of it all. Charity bash at The Chapel nightclub in Salisbury, Oldslapper's band were on the same bill. We filled one of the early slots at short notice, hence the small but select crowd. Captions welcome by the way.
20. Any excuse to put the Spoiler up again. I love it, still stick to gigging with the Precision mind you
21.
Who's the band?
And where's the gig?
22.
I genuinely "like" watching 'Later...'!
Me too, I love it but that opening Clapton number was a bit of a challenge and it takes a fair bit to offend my tin ear. There's usually a pleasant surprise and Bellowhead were definitely it this week for me.
23. The vintage Telecaster bass I bought off Beedster which I sold in a midst of slight panic after overspending elsewhere - it's still the screensaver on my laptop. Also, the maple boarded fretless that Prosebass put together for me - moment of madnes that one.
24.
added, http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=106806 and thanks ha, never even noticed
Now there's service for you. Would you like to marry me?
25. Well I'll be. Nice work - more pics of the Ps please.
