1. Bump for photos and a bit more info
2.
Would you be prepared to ship to the West Midlands?
Yes, but you might need to hang on until I can sort out something suitable to ship it in
3. SOLD Yamaha BB414 in Metallic Orange finish for sale for £200 inc P&P.
4.
Please feel free to ask questions !
OK, which one's the easiest? I'd like to have a crack at one over the weekend. I'd also like to echo what everyone else has said, immense thanks for everything you do on here.
5.
I guess there's just not that many people willing to pay the "correct" prices for the higher end Warwicks these days. I guess instead of selling them we should all just buy another while they're still cheap!
Rest assured the mere fact that I'm considering buying one should see second-hand prices double while I'm trying to get the cash together. Thanks again for all the info.
6.
I'll sell you a minty 2001 Streamer Stage I for £900
Well, having had a quick look around I think it would have to be a Streamer as I'm not that keen on the other body shapes. Would be looking at sub £500 though and I haven't really got the cash at the moment (always happy to receive cheeky offers). As always thanks for all the comments - if I could find a Streamer Standard like the one I played today for £200 I'd be very happy.
7.
i have the same problem. I find it almost impossible to play just off the beat, and keep time.
I pretend to headbutt the guitarist on the onbeat and then play on the off beat - works a treat. Interestingly (or not) if I start playing more notes the drummer speeds up often to the point where it's impossible to keep up - this only happens on the skanky numbers. Not really the sort of answer you were looking for Chris I'm sure, my only other nugget of limited wisdom is to shout out the root on the onbeat (if you haven't got a handy guitarist to air butt that is)
8. I'd never played a Warwick until this afternoon when a brief family excursion for tea and cake managed to take in this Warwick I liked it so much I almost had it off them there and then. However I'm by nature a cautious soul so erred on the side of research instead as I find the Warwick world much confusing. First off I'd have to say that this felt and looked like £500 worth of bass guitar but is there better value in the Warwick market at this sort of price? Any advice welcome at the moment
9. Hello there, spent a good deal of yesterday pootling through the New Forest - damn fine day out. Enjoy the forum
10.
Apologies if I havent read every post in the feedback section, but does anyone ever leave bad feedback (a la Ebay)? To me, that would be just as useful as good feedback in some cases, but i guess there is a protocol to take into account.
Yes and it has lead to at least one banning in my time on here
11. Bought a Phil Jones cab off Gareth after he had patiently waited for me to raise the cash. Easygoing transaction and meet up. All good stuff
12. Sold Frank my Little Giant, painless transaction and another super smooth Basschat deal. Good bloke to do business with.
13. New to the forum but well worth his feedback. Just concluded a very good deal with John. Swift payment and excellent communications and he dealt very gracefully with a couple of delivery hiccups on my part. Deal with confidence.
14.
I know this has been brought up before, but could some of those sellers perhaps contribute to the forum instead of just using it as a marketplace?
I'm only really here to buy and sell Pete, the contribution's just collateral damage
15. Excellent trade deal with Jon (my ESP for his Yamaha), which saw him happy enough to post to me first. Everything good about a Basschat deal here, trade and indeed deal with complete confidence.
16. I've got be honest I wouldn't have known the difference. When I traded mine on here I only listed it as an ESP LTD for completeness, I had no idea it was a licensed version of a more expensive model. However in the case of Squier/Fender, Epiphone/Gibson I'm in complete agreement with you.
17. And relisted. Might have to have a word this time
18.
I've just given my 78 P a facelift (It had previously been stripped to the bare ash) It's now Capri Orange!
Well that's just about perfect. Gonna be stalking this one for quite some time
19.
I've PM'ed you...
Replied and on hold pending payment
20. Now for sale at £110 including postage. Bargain
21. PMs replied to, now available at £340 including postage
22. Absolutely lovely bloke. Drove a fair old distance to come and get my cab of me after paying up front. Can't recommend him highly enough.
