1. It's still raining here Shaggy. Sinks still available
2. Not got anything over £500 at the moment but if I had my 83 MIJ Precision would still be my pub gig bass
3. Looks like I might have a free evening on the fringes of the capital. If you've got a gig that night let me know, I'm an enthusiastic clapper of most genres and if necessary can double as a nodder (jazz gigs only). I don't have the capacity of old so if you're on a cut of the bar take you're in for a disappointment.
4. And withdrawn. Going to keep this rig now after finally coming to my senses
5. Not just you, I have the same problem with Opera, haven't got a fix for it I'm afraid
6. A couple more weeks then it's off to eBay if there's no interest
7. Fast payment on a quick deal, pity we didn't get to mert up though. I concur with everything said above.
8. Forgot to add, could probably bung about £200 trade wise for a bass. Any takers?
9. Concluded another fabulous deal with Clarky. A true gent and a ray of sunshine in these troubled times.
10. New trade options added in the light of incoming combo: A bass of some kind, not really fussed what kind
11.
Mmmm, anyone used this rig with DB, it is tempting?
Well, that was sort of the reason I bought it but I haven't got round to learning to play the DB yet. I can also assure people that this rig is not endorsed by Man Utds lumbering midfielder.
12. Ah, The One. Please somebody by my PJB rig so I can buy this. Think of the happiness you'd be spreading.
13. Incoming combo means that this rig has to go now. Offers or trades will be welcomed.
14.
My old bass, she's a beaut
Indeed, couple of photos added to the first post now
15. Price now reduced to £175 Hutchins Prince Semi Acoustic bass, previous sales thread is here http://basschat.co.u..._1#entry1163398 Very lightweight for the ageing crocks amongst us, 34" scale, currently sporting some lightweight, low tension TI roundwounds. Also comes with original tweed effect hardcase. Nice old school tones to be had with flats on this bass. Any questions fire away and I'll do what I can to answer. 16. Prices reduced to see if we can make something happen here £400 for the amp £300 for the cab
17. £30 for the Zoom posted before I stick it on the bay £25 V-Amp ditto The V Amp is the silver bass one, comes with bag, psu and foot switch - should have made that clearer earlier Open to trades of any kind, ludicrous offers also welcome as I haven't had a PM for months
18.
Was considering putting a video here but everybody is way above my level at both playing and their recording...I don't want to embarrass myself
Didn't stop me...go for it
19.
sounded great. Looked like a fun gig there. lucky on the weather front too Rich www.soundcloud/thefm
Cheers Rich, indeed we were extremely lucky with the weather, the sun broke through about 10 minutes before we went on.
