It's taken a while to get it working live but we've got there now. I think it's the new blue bass, there's an outside chance it was the MIJ ol' faithful - I can't remember which bass take was used in the end.

It has taken an absolute age but I think we are nearly there. We are something of an end-of-the-pier band and this is the most end-of-the-pier song. What more can I say - this is the third bass I've bought of Clarky. Another great deal and he very graciously allowed me to pay in instalments. In addition to all the usual stuff I should add that the bass was very impressively set up by the man himself and it plays supremely well.

Tried recording one of the band's easy songs but was all fat-fingered and rubbish. It's been one of those days really.
