1.
I love mine, had it for years.
Me too
2. Also pm'd. Quite fancy a trip to Marlborough as it happens.
3.
I've never met a Bc-er I didn't like. All splendid types.
Indeed. And you should pop over to Salisbury again sometime soon.
4.
The only one I've met so far is Gust0o. Thoroughly nice chap and built like an outhouse.
If you think Gus is big, you're in for a shock if you venture out to the SW Bass Bash
5. Video (finally) attached to the first post
6.
Fantastic picture
There are some real beautys from the night, I'll put up some properly mastered audio along with some video when it's ready. In the mean time a bit of bass player in the dry ice...
7.
Awesome
Cheers, I'll try and add a short video later. Quantity of red wine consumed after tea will have some bearing on this though.
8. Right, let's have a crack at this for 2014. Photo (by local pro snapper Tim Kidner) is from New Year's Eve 2013 at Salisbury Arts Centre, supporting Whitmore. And some accompanying video, not the most representative track but there may be more to come http://youtu.be/Ho8tljaK_sI
9. Interesting experiment but more importantly the girl providing the lead off vocal (Viktoria Fairnie) sang Winter Wonderland with my band at last years Christmas gig. She used to do our merch as well. How the mighty have risen..
10. Very pleasant, laid-back and easy tuner trade. Always good to deal with one of the nice guys.
11. Same venue as last would be excellent
12. Really excellent bloke to deal with. Bought a pedal off me which turned out to have a minor fault and took it all in his stride. A genuine pleasure to deal with.

Another splendid, painless transaction. Top bloke.
14. Mainly theory, bit of noodling on top. My ears are too shot to get me anywhere.
15.
Just occurred to me that given my gear trading habits as well as those of the folks I tend to trade gear with, there's a pretty good chance this box is going to visit quite a few BCers one way or another
I've already got that inevitable feeling...
16.
Sorry I can't make it John. Mrs C "has plans" and I am her gimp
Careful now old fella
17. Headline stage time is alleged to be 10:15 tonight, previous experience suggests that this may be optimistic.
18.
Remind me on Thursday evening would you?
Slightly belated reminder. For anyone who wants a sneak preview the album is on iTunes and Amazon MP3 store - The Intercepteurs - Aunt Peggy Goes Motoring
19. Stage time was about 10:30 last time we played there so I'm guessing round about then.
20. There's cheaper admission available if you print out the flyer on the band's Facebook page. I've just got to get rid of this stinking cold and all will be well.
21. I have got a kind of anti-GAS at the moment. I want to get rid of everything and then get a lightweight combo and a Yamaha BB414. I expect all this will pass.
22. Time for a quick update, looks like the full line-up has been sorted out now, promoters blurb below: The Intercepteurs + Evil Turkeys + Tom Turbine + Tree Of Wolves The Intercepteurs- Salisbury ska pop supremos in the Specials/Beat mould with plenty of nods in the playing to the bedrock of the music- Skatalites, Baba Brooks, Millie Smalls et al…do it very, and add a little Britpop cum psych ’60s spice too….uplifting n joyous with it. Evil Turkeys- comedic good time punk/ska..(Madness, Piranhas, Ordinary Boys) meets some fiery raw rocknroll textures and cranked up RnB…One helluva lotta fun. Evil Turkeys- Ska..Madness, Piranhas, Ordinary Boys, but mostly sound like that band that covered Poison Ivy back in 1979. , actually V charming. ATV had a one off stab at commercial pop punk in 1980 ‘Strange Kicks’ and this sounds like an out-take from that LP… Elsewhere they do a garage punk/schlock rock terrace punk melange a la Cock Sparrer/Sham 69 via Dr Feelgood- versatile! Tom Turbine- zippy indie pop combined with some post Radiohead introspection, but all in all upbeat, meaty, beaty big and bouncy. Tree Of Wolves- Just recorded l.p with Gorkys producer John Lawrence and it’s sounding good, upbeat summery tunes, with a psychedelic undertow. Winningly short snappy hook laden tunes at that. And pretty much their own unique sound.
23.
Great video, a whole heap of fun. I reckon our bands would be compatible on a bill if that would be doable?
Drop me a PM and let's see what we can do
