    If times were different, I'd suggest going to a Bass Bash, and talk to people and play as many basses there as possible I would not buy a bass without playing it first, but it may be a while before you can do that

    I still have my blue IKEA trolley. I would not recommend it. Fine for floors such as in IKEA but not much good elsewhere. I've still got and use the trolley I bought from Maplins.

    Depending on the line up of the band, sometimes changes are needed. If I was playing '99 Luftballons' in a 3 piece band, I'd play a different bassline than I'd play in a line up with a keyboard.

    Basschat was once closed down by the FBI. I love telling people that Actually, it was a previous incarnation of Basschat (Bassworld) and it was the servers it was on that the Feds were after, as they were being used for dodgy content from elsewhere. Anyhow, welcome!
