I received an email from BGM asking me to re-subscribe. I'm thinking £22.50 for 12 issues, why not? But I'm also thinking as I haven't actually missed it, why bother?

I've never rated GK amps because of Flea - his sound has never done it for me. But at the SE bash I played through SilverFoxNik's GK amp when jamming with Paul the drummer, and it was awesome. this is of course IMO and YMMV.

Yeah, but what about the people who don't contact you after an audition? Or just keep stringing you along until you find out they got someone else on their website? Just tell me I haven't got the job. I obviously like the band or I wouldn't have auditioned, but do you still think I'm gonna come and see you now? Bitter? Me? Nah!

I remember her from back in the day, didn't she have to call herself 'Horse UK' because of a band from USA? BTW you make it look so easy playing the DB, but having had a lesson at the SE Bash - I know it isn't!

The only bad thing about the day for me was that it went so quickly. So kudos to the organising committee and here's to the next one!

I may have mentioned it before ( ) but my Tech Soundsystems combo used to belong to Squarepusher. He used it for a gig at the Albert Hall. I probably don't make it sound quite as good as he did though

Wolverton I think.
