It seems to be played differently by everyone on the YouTube. Does it matter so long as it sounds right? How do you play it?

I think I get what you mean. Many years ago I had the same issue with scales when I played classical guitar. What I did, was to practice very slow, and lift each finger as soon as I had played a note so it didn't rake and I was forced to alternate pluck. It took a while for my muscle memory to develop, but tbh raking is part of my playing now, although I use 3 fingers to pluck so have options. The guitar equivalent is called economy picking, when an upstroke would be followed by another upstroke (same for downstrokes).

I nearly gave up on getting my merch signed after the gig, as the smell of pish, at the back of The Astoria was overpowering.

A.I. at the moment does not create anything 'new' or 'original'. It plagiarizes content (in the case of chatGBT only upto 2021) for which the creators receive no payment or acknowledgement. A.I. programmed with all music upto and including the 1950's would not be able to create a 1960's beat music song. A.I. programmed with all music upto and including the 1960's would not be able create a disco or prog song. Etc.

Not a rehearsal but an audition on Thursday for the backing band of a young lady singer songwriter. The songs I was given to learn were demos, so the band were still kicking them into shape during the audition. I played fine and contributed the creative process, which seemed to be well received. Haven't heard back yet though. I've got another audition with a covers band week after next.

Many years ago, due to the band at the time, I tuned my MM Sub B-E-A-D. It just needed a slight tweak on the truss, and I filed the nut groove a tad to accommodate the B.

What a faff. Renewal quote up by £70. Did the compare sites, plus the insurers not on them, and found the cheapest quote on a Cashback site, which will almost match last years premium when I get the cash back.

They might be on sale at those prices, but are they what people are actually paying to buy?
