"Sports teams like the Yankees and Arsenal do not claim to be the same as their historic counterparts, such as the Yankees of the 1998 World Series or Arsenal's 1970-71 double-winning team. They represent the franchise's ongoing legacy rather than reenacting past achievements. In contrast, a band with one original member performing the original hits might give the impression of recreating past performances rather than representing a continuous legacy.
Bands often build their identity around their founding members and original lineup, which significantly contributes to their creative output and public image. When only one original member remains, the band's identity may feel more like a tribute act rather than a continuation of the original entity."
Initially beset by transport issues. Severe delays on the tube, and a traffic accident causing tailbacks meant we lost an hour of rehearsal time.
However it was my first rehearsal with my Ibanez UB804, and it was glorious π
Boss PW-10. Basically a multi FX in a wah pedal. I'd wanted one since they came out 20 years ago. It's still an amazing piece of kit.
But I have no practical use for it whatsoever π
As you say, worst is relative. I bought an FX pedal I have absolutely no practical use for, purely because I really wanted one when they came out 20 years ago.
Best. Ibanez UB804, an EUB. My first upright. Loving it! π
Find out what happens after the course as well as during it. I don't know what the figures are now, but a couple of years before lockdown some of these music colleges had really low graduate employment rates.
Well if that's the name of the game, there's nothing stopping bassists being monogamish, polyamorous, part of a throuple or poly-fidelity, FWBs, or having CNM or ENM, or relationship anarchy, or being Queer Platonic, co-parenting, or chosen family.
