Bought a Diago Powerstation off of Si and he was excellent to deal with, the PSU is in great shape and it was well packaged. Top BC'er!!!

Bought some strap locks from Alain. They arrived quickly and were well packaged, great comms and a top BCer!

Can't say I've ever used it with an active bass I'm afraid, but dopefx have a FB page you can check with. Have a look for the Bobba Fuzz pedal, it's a woolly mammoth clone that can go from dirt to subtle and you can get them reasonably cheap on the bay. There's a pretty good vid on youtube

Gotcha, thanks for the replies guys! Has anyone actually damaged their gear using the meatbox? If I end up getting one I'll definitely safe and start at low volumes, but just how careful do you have to be with them?!?!

Sorry for the stupid question, but can you explain what you mean about the output being TRS to an idiot who is new to playing with effects and doesn't want to blow his rig up? =)

Just brought a couple of speakon cables from Dave and can't get over their quality and how quickly they were sent to me. I ordered on Monday afternoon and they arrived on Tuesday morning - top cables, top service and top bloke!!

Just bought Jon's Barefaced cabs - they're in great condition, top guy, super friendly and I'd buy off him again with no hesitation!

At the minute I'm weighing up a TecAmp m212 in the for sale section here, or a GK410 RBH on Gumtree........hmm, decisions. I haven't heard either of them yet, but they both have cracking reviews around the net......the TecAmp is half the weight though, which I might grow to like!!!

Thanks for the advice everyone - I might go and see if it's still around over the weekend seeing as it's only 5 minutes down the road from me, but I'm leaning toward avoiding it - back to the cab hunt!!

Hey Guys, I've just bought myself an Orange Terror 500 head and am looking around for a second hand cab to pair it with, mostly to be making grungey, heavy rock, type noise with. I've just found this Ampeg 410HE on Gumtree that's been split into 2x210s and was wondering if anyone has ever done/experienced anything similar? Do you reckon it has any effect on the sound etc? Is there anything specific I should be worried about or look out for? I bought a Idiotbox Blower Box off of Alex and he's a top bloke! We're not too far from each other and he very kindly dropped it off to me and we spent a couple of hours in a pub chatting about all things bass - great bc'er and a pleasure to deal with, trade in confidence!

I like Mick Quinn from Supergrass and think he doesn't get enough praise as he should.

Bought a MIM precision off of Lozz and his previous feedback says it all - top bloke who's a pleasure to chat to and makes a good cuppa =) He even fixed an issue with the bass while I was there because he wouldn't let it go without it being in top condition and drove me to the cash point!
