Ok thanks - my second question was more for the discerning fender fact heads What do they sound like ? I just won a mex classic 50s pup on eBay so wondering whether to use it or splash the extra for the after market fender "original"

These are around £80 from GAK. Anyone tried them or know what models they are fitted to ? Thanks

A squier is a licensed copy of a fender but made more cheaply abroad and with cheaper parts. They can be very good A rock bass might refer to a cheaper version of a Warwick made in china rather than Germany

It's a 50:50 in court at best, you'd win if you got the right judge on the day. The law is clear here, Thompson v SMG railways The receipt you get refers you to t and c statement. I have ordered a nitro finished sunburst P from the bass doc. It will have a tinted thin nitro coating on the neck so should relic down nicely over time It will take a month or so to deliver so pics later when Howard has weaved his magic Will look something like this http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem?itemId=290853428358 I don't have a pickup for it yet - anyone got any kicking about ? Also looking for one of those copper plates that sits under the pickup if anyone has one spare ? Thanks
