3. Very nice, I had a 4 string version with different Pups, I still regret selling it. Someone will be very happy here!
4.
Check out the Baers here as a 2x112 option... you could run them with either a TH500 or the DB750.
Mmmmm, sounds good to me! ☺️
5. No worries, hope it goes ok. At band volume I have zero issues with mine and can't find fault with it at all. I do get slight white noise which is noticeable at practice volumes, so I tend to use a PJB Bighead headphone amp at home, as it's crystal clear. As a gigging amp I love my mb800.
6. Had a little play to test out your points: Channel B quieter - yep, it is quieter, this is so that you can add more gain on channel B to get an overdriven tone, channel B Level, and Master then allow you balance to volume to match channel A. To give you one clean and one distorted channel. Nothing to worry about. Pop when changing - yep, I hear a little bit of what you're describing, not all that noticeable though, not a big or defined Pop, but I could hear a blip in the tone, definitely something that could be as you describe. I find it a great little amp. Hope this helps.
7. I'll have play later on my mb800 to look into the other areas, but for now: Grainy hum - yep, I've had two with that and am thinking it may be due to RF interference or not very clean power. I've tried a cheap power conditioner, but that didn't resolve it. On mine it's only a quiet him and not an issue with normal playing volumes. Fan running loud - nope, my fan is speed controlled and takes a while before it even kicks in, and then runs at different speeds so generally stud nice and quiet unless you're pushing it.
8. Argh! I literally tossed a coin between these cabs and my now current Barefaced rig - before you listed these. At this price I'd have had your hand off, incredible!
9. I haven't used them, but saw some at Bass Direct earlier this year too. I did express an interest, though they said they hadn't sold any to date. It makes sense if they're paired with some IEM's, I imagine you get the full body vibration as you would standing in front of a stack and save damaging your ears!
10. Yeah, heard about this earlier, sounds good. He's a good friend and very creative bassist, should be a good ride, I'm in!
11. Fantastic amp, really enjoying mine! Highly recommended.
12.
As Genz are no longer in production we're often recommending the GK MB800 (Fusion or not) amps for those who want powerful yet tiny and affordable lightweight head - not heard any bad things about that combination yet.
+1 For GK mb800 & Barefaced.
13. If all the previous sales fall through I'll take this too please!
14. Not if I nab it after 92 😉 This is exciting!

The contrast wood in the centre on the back of the body.
16. Great news! Glad you like it. 😀 It certainly delivers for such a small package.
17.
I got myself a Double Four from Thomann. I have to say, I am so happy with it. It's totally silent too, no unwanted noises that others have complained about.
Glad you like it. I'm super happy with mine, no background noise here either! Just oodles of great tone!
18. One more completed!
19.
I am intending to stand my Big Baby 2 on top of another Big Baby 2 to get it up to a decent height
Now there's a solution I like! 😃
20.
Well I am finding more and more that the better quality the gear you use, the less EQ that is needed to a more pleasurable tone. The LM3 that arrives tomorrow will be the icing on the cake for my setup which will be: 1. Ibanez SR1205 2. MXR Bass Compressor 3. Markbass LM3 4. Bergantino HT & EX 112s Bit of a tone beast right there
Very nice indeed, I've tried a MB Big Bang through those cabs, which was very nice, so with that set up I don't think you'd be able to EQ a non-pleasurable tone if you tried! Let us all know how the Mark Bass fits in!
21. You're more than welcome! There's one in the classifieds now!
22. My fault in original description. It's an external additional power supply for laptops. But works great with the double four.
23. I'll take a photo and forward the battery pack details I'm using with my PJB double four, later tonight when I get home. Nothing on their website, can't remember how I originally found out about it... It's sold as an external battery pack for 'laptops', runs at 20v I think, and best of all, slides nicely into the handle. The Double Four has lots of low end too, and sounds great, very impressive from such a small amp! It came with a range of connection adaptors and you can charge it with the power pack from the Double Four I believe, though I've got an old Sony laptop PSU laying around I use to charge it.
