Selling my beautiful Tom Clements USA handmade 6 string fretless bass. Purchased from BassDirect, built in 2011, only had one other owner, very well looked after in fantastic condition. This has a wonderfully crafted asymmetric neck that thins out on the treble side, which makes is very playable, and a wonderfully figured body. The Mwah from this solid slab of ebony fret board is exceptional. This was always a keeper and I really don’t want to pass it on. However with a wife on a career break and one gorgeous little baby, I must convert into funds, so no trades thank you. Happy to arrange for a courier at buyers expense, free local pick up. More than welcome to try it out, you won’t be disappointed! More pictures on request, fire any questions my way. Specifications; Black Limba body Spalted maple top Natural satin finish Black Limba neck Ebony F/B, 34” scale Hipshot ultralight tuners Hipshot A style bridge, 18mm string spacing (adjustable 17 - 19mm) Nordstrand big split pickups East SP 2 band preamp 10lb 2oz/4.5kgs

Upgrades for Spector Legend 6 string?
Musashimonkey replied to Musashimonkey's topic in Bass Guitars
Cheers guys, thanks for sharing, much appreciated. I'll have a look at the bass culture ones, never considered them an upgrade from Barts. Thank you. Further suggestions or advice still welcome here... -
I recently got hold of a Spector Legend 6 which had already been upgraded with EMG-X pick ups and preamp. I don't think this choice complements the bass, there are a range of tones that sound awful, and although I can dial in some good tones, I can't help but feel a change would be better. So.., does anyone have any suggestions at all please? I love my Bartolini in my MTD, and my East in the Clement, but not sure what would suit this?

Cool, thanks guys, much appreciated. Looks like I'll be taking the plunge too then!

How is everyone getting on with them? Is it reliable and accurate enough to do away with a dedicated strobe pedal tuner?...

Recently got it down to 4, but soon to be 3. I know I should only really have two max, a fretted and fretless 😢

Ok, ok, I give in, I will most definitely be coming along please. This will be my first one, so go easy on me! I'll bring an MTD USA 6 string, a Tom Clements fretless 6 string, a GK mb800, a Barefaced BB2 and a Super Midget (Gen 3's)... Well that's unless GAS gets the better of me in the meantime! -
