  1. Gloworm Festival at Thoresby Hall in Notts, depping for Johnny and the Raindrops, who do original songs for kids. https://youtube.com/channel/UCfudHoUzRaZd-A7CzlzRzRA We had kids up on stage playing cardboard guitars and dressed up as carrots and peas and all sorts. Fantastic gig.
  2. Maybe a tad over egged? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/224986613473?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=ErmajAvtTSy&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=_IZf9qi7SWa&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=MORE
  3. In a similar vein, I played a 'Rock night' in a local pub with different scratch bands. Last act on, the singer, who was drunk, fell backwards into the drum kit!
  4. 30 minute set for Nottinghamshire Pride today. Big crowd.....great gig ....end of gig shot
  5. I reckon he's wet himself and is trying to 'dry off'
  6. Nemphasis 02 preamp Bought this before lockdown and haven't really used it much. In excellent condition with the original box. Postage is £5
  7. Markbass 250 Blackline amp SOLD ON FB Used as a back up and in good condition. Comes with an Ashdown gig bag with a broken zip Happy to post at buyers cost (UK only)

  9. Geez Louise.... break out the shades
  10. The Lion at Basford in Nottingham. We've played here a few times and it's always a great gig for us. The crowd were right into it with much cavorting and dad-dancing at the end. Our drummer even got his own fan-club.
  11. That's a great looking rig. Didn't realise Purple Chilli did amps. I don't need another rig, but my GAS ⛽ is twitching

  13. The vat was paid up front so it was included and there was no import fee - I believe that purchases under £50 pay zero duty, which is only 2 or 3% anyway
  14. Just used these guys for some strings which were hard to find through normal outlets (or v expensive) www.stringsbymail.com Cost £33.00 all taxes and duties paid and arrived about 7 days after ordering. Best UK price I could find was £48.00
  15. Jesus, Mary and Joseph and the wee donkey..... that's a beauty
  16. You are the king of awesome basses Mr Walsh 😊
  17. Set of groundwound Elite Custom Strings, mediums 45-65-85-105 NOS but gone rusty in a few places. Never been put on a bass Bought em off eBay and the seller refunded and didn't want them returned which was decent of him Can't bring myself to just bin them so selling for a fiver to cover post and packing
  18. I've had a couple of Bass Collection basses including a Bruce Thomas Profile. They are fantastic for the money and so as long as you're not a headstock decal snob, will make a brilliant main gigging or back up bass GLWTS
