[/quote] The man has a point I get the whole Limelight thing regarding copyright issues/concerns. But lets be truthful, half of the appeal to most buyers is having the logo make it look like the real deal, without it, it's just another bass.....with the logo it is a replica - I'm guessing that's what most people would like without the hassle of having to source the logo, fit etc etc but as i say i get it - peeps will just be sourcing their own logo from now on.

Hmmm, what about Sonic blue & tort???...i kinda like the vibe of the this original 63P and Marks (Classic & Cool Guitars) is just up the road from me (hides wallet and view of PC from wifey ). I have already traded with him in the past and its true he's a great chap indeed. If anyone wants me to 3 month road test their new incoming Limelights before they receive then of course I'm always game

PM's replied, still here at the moment: I've had quite a bit of interest on my bass so will put this info up on the thread too: Year: 2008 Made in Korea, Designed in USA - Skyline model Pick ups - Lakland Condition - pretty much pristine, couldn't see any dinks when just checking it over. Weight: 11lbs, 4oz on my scales. Frets are perfectly level to my eye, no pitting etc...usual top Lakland quality from that era Action is low, I think it may go slightly lower still but the action is very comfortable for me. No issues with truss rod or neck, no string buzzes, good string balance. Hardware all in perfect working order. It's pretty much perfect, like new....even have original price tag in the softcase of £1050.
