1.
Fab price for the Yamaha. I played one for about 10 years.
....and the Yamaha just sold - it's off to Lithuania
2. Hit me with your trades peeps....may be persuaded for other things
3. Yamaha TRB's are great, I have one up for sale but not too worried if it doesn't sell. Having tried a lot of fives they are definitely a favourite...but alas 5 string duties are few and far between these days.
4. Never understood all this pedal malarkey myself ...here's my first board...still clueless how to find those Nerve drum & bass sounds though - i want that warm round old school 90's LTJ Buken type bass sound. Two channels out my board BTW, one for low end only off the LS2, through an octave and into a BD121 thing that has a DI out to the FOH. Still yet to try this hot hand thing as its still in the box at the mo....my heads exploding with learning Logic X, IOS music stuff, MIDI, & keeping two screaming kids happy...oh and working for our crumbling NHS 25 hrs a day
5. TRADED! 90's German Warwick Corvette (the golden era in my opinion) - this bass is brilliant since upgrading the weaker cheaper type MEC electronics that come on Corvettes. I have upgraded it with Bartolini pick ups and an ACG pre amp (the filter type), this gives tonal/filter control over each pick up so very versatile- sounds and plays great - lots of sounds coming out of this bass, nice thin jazz like wenge neck and lovely body grain. £575 OVNO is a bargain considering the upgrades......I forgot to add this one even has a hipshot D-tuner too (down tune from E to D in a flick of a switch) and a new switchcraft replacement jack socket as the Warwick ones are prone to fail. Has been regularly waxed and will come with a Warwick wax tub & Warwick gig bag (or decent hard case for extra £15) More Pics: https://www.icloud.c...#B0O52plgjeaMKD Look at that grain...will cure erectile dysfunction PM me if you need more pics or have specific Q's, thanks. Welcome to collect from Plymouth, Devon or I can courier in the UK. Overseas buyers would need to cover shipping costs. Suggested trades I'm interested in is ideally a 2x10 Markbass cab, 8 ohm, possible other lightweight 2x10", or Fender Rumble combo, or Aguilar TH500, P bass with Jazz width neck....but try me on anything bass related- Thanks for looking.

7. Sorry for the slight thread hijack but can you send a midi clock to the Moog from say a synth, or does it have the go through some midi to CV converter .?
8. If these haven't gone PM me as I'm interested too
9. SOLD..... https://orangeamps.c...aker-enclosure/
10. As the title says, not looking to sell. PM me if your interested - thanks
11.
Why would anyone take LSD in the 90s. LSD was one of our 60s things. Blue
Haha, I wasn't alive in the 60's but I'm lead to believe the 90's batch wasn't quite the same (please note I was not a 90's rave type, rather I was in the Acid Jazz vibe)..... even then the elderly people regularly proclaimed it was all about the 60's. That said I think I only tried the drug twice (....or was that as per Cheech & Chong, 'Twentytwice' ) Anyhow not to derail the thread but our weddings band guitard has recreationaly experimented over the last year, it hasn't improved his playing despite supplying him with many a Funkadelic album & Mahavishnu Orchestra etc - it must therefore mean that todays quality is even worse still, albeit some legal high derivative probably. So there you go don't do drugs in the modern day kids, they're bad....they're not proper anymore and don't induce star shaped sunglasses....and nowadays working within psychiatric settings I've seen it first hand
12. In my wedding band our two Ska numbers seem to be magnets for people no one had noticed all night...especially the air saxers on One Step Beyond - where do these people live? ...and worst of all do they breed?
13. I've had the classic bridezilla throw up all over the dance floor...that was entertaining. Also I'm always amazed how our drummer always manages to be first in the queue for food...even when it hasn't been offered to the band. And as for good gigs/ bad gigs...like my LSD experiences in the 1990's, in 4yrs on this I've never had a bad one
14. Looking for anything trade wise, studio or bass ?
15. I've been doing it for 4 years in the Southwest UK and totally love it, great vibes, big dancing crowds and the money has enabled me to drop my day job to 4 days a week. Downsides, late nights followed by children jumping on me early the next morning... but when I flash the cash my wife is sympathetic
16. Sorted...Yamaha Metronome app accepts Midi both in & out. Apple camera kit on the iPad into one of those cheap silver midi to USB cables off evilbay...jobs a good one
17. Looking to hook our midi clock up to either an iphone or iPad - got an old Line 6 Midi Mobilizer mk1 on an old iphone 4S but currently awaiting an irig to connect to a newer iPad...ideally wanting an app to act as a click track for our drummer that is synced from a synth BPM midi clock...any suggestions lovely people ?
18. Another vote for TC here, brilliant tuner 😎
