I found the trick with the streamliner is to roll the bass knob back to 9 - 10 o'clock and boost the mids.id never sell mine I love it

we played at an event on Thursday night and the onstage sound was one of mush.when I asked the sound guy why it sounded so bad his reply was "its because you 15 foot off the bass bins".after 4 tries I gave up and struggled through the set.afterwards a mate said the bass out front was an inaudible rumble

well not a good night.the bloody dog jumped up and scratched the scratchplate and the dimarzios don't fit.time for a pint.do fender scratch plates fit?

bass arrived today.apart from rough fret edges I cant fault it.i adjusted the truss rod half a turn and set the action at 2mm on the e string.no buzzes anywhere on the fretboard. I did change the bridge to gotoh 201 and im changing the electrics to a kiogan loom.I might also put a set of dimarzio dp123 because ive got them.for the price its an awesome bass

try changing the strings to ones with a higher tension

yeah the fender cs pickups are cool

while tuning my dj4 before Fridays gig the g string snapped.i didn't have a spare set of roundwounds but I had a new set of labella flatwounds.so on they went and wow it sounds awesome cant believe its taken me this long to put flats on my jazz

please move if its posted in the wrong section. yesterday I bought a chord iem 16 set as a first step into seeing if I liked in ears.everything goes through the desk and we took the feed for the monitors from aux2 the drums and backing tracks sound fine but the bass sounds awful.very distorted. so can anyone give any advice as to where im going wrong
