  1. we have had 3 srm 450 failures so we changed to rcf and they seem bomb proof

  7. again +1 for the genz focus cabs I run through 2 2x10 and unless they die or are stolen I wont be buying any more cabs again
  8. by the sound of this we massively undercharge.our wedding rate is 750-800 for that they get 2 one hour sets the first dance if possible and we also do the disco.

  10. well up to now ive always used rotos or ernie ball strings on all my basses but I thought id try something different and bought a set of dr black beauties and im far from impressed.the g string sounds awful and they seem to have quite a low tension so I had to set up the bass differently.theres probberly a million bass players who love the dr strings im just not one of them
  11. the streamliner is a class amp.ive never regretted buying mine.and the di is superb on it
  12. before I pack in playing I would like to own a sandberg tm4 or a jabba 4 but not a hca.it will have to be nice and shiney
  13. a few folk have told me to put a fender decal on the headstock but im happy to have the squire logo there . nice bass btw great colour combination
  14. ive a vmj 4string that has 60'cs pick ups and a kiogon loom fitted.it was my go to bass right up until the lakland arrived.i didn't feel the need for a pre awesome basses for the money
  15. just went to fit my stpaplocks only to discover that the screws for the strap buttons are really thick and wont go through the Schaller strap button.so its vice and drill time
  16. the bass weighs 8.4 pounds.it feels very light compared to my vmj and fender p
  17. just a skyline im afraid .but its still the nicest bass I own.the acion is so low my only worry is we play in eb s I don't want to ruin such a beautiful action
  18. well today I took ownership of my first ever lakland bass.its a lovely white with pearl guard and maple neck and fingerboard.the paint work is flawless as the rest of the bass.it has to be best neck ive had on any bass ive owned all in all im a very happy chappy
  19. nice sounding amp but the weight and inability to use a second cab stopped my from buying one

  22. its a guitarist thing in my old band we had 2 of them and both had the amp heads maxed out on the bass.the only thing I could do was up my mids.I didn't like the way it sounded but at least it could be heard.
  23. well after a few weeks with mine ive decided it has to go.I played a Lakland Skyline Darryl Jones White Pearl MN on Friday and was blown away by it
