  1. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F323364749294 The style is errrr eclectic maybe?
  2. I could do with getting this gone before my hold so price now £30 posted.....that's cheap for an EMG pup isn't it? For sale EMG active precision pickup just taken out of a hybrid bass that really should have stayed as a jazz but that's another story..... Was working fine when I rescued the jazz bass. As the jazz was from the late 80s and the pup was in it from new (ish) I'm assuming this is one if the original EMG active precision pups plus the newer ones have terminal block connections I think. Condition is OK, used and not mint by any means with part of the EMG having rubbed off. Wiring instructions can be found online. Now £40 including UK postage. Will post anywhere though.
  3. It’s easy to report the item to eBay. open up the item, check for that dodgy advert type I mentioned above and the in the top right corner there are 3 dots next to the shopping basket. Click the 3 dots and one of the options from the drop down menu is to report the item to eBay. I choose “listing practices, fraudulent activity and you suspect the item is fraudulent” and submit. The window looks like the pic below.
  4. This is what the ads always look like. Any like this are fraudulent;
  5. That was my thoughts and I was going to say why would someone fake a mex. Still, now verified as a true Geddy, then it was a bargain as they’re selling for between £500 & £600.
  6. It’s gone already. Hopefully whoever bought it will check provenance on collection.
  7. I think it's genuine. Serial number, signature. bridge and logo look right to me.
  8. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F113141202375 Be quick. That's cheap....
  9. This is the same account hacker or hackers. They’re a bit obvious as when you go to the listing details they always ask you if you are ready for a deal and if so to email so as to complete the deal off eBay. The email is always the same but the eBay seller ID is different (as the account is has been hacked) but all the listings are similar in content. It seems eBay are relying on the punters like us to inform them of bogus listings. I keep reporting them when they crop up - so should all of us. When I spot another I’ll post a pic of the typical ad content so we can continue to serve the public with our vigilantism!!!!! Hope we don’t report any genuine ones along the way. I’d hate to miss a genuine 62 P bass with a buy it now of £999.
  10. I got mine from him too. He’s certainly a decent seller and it was with me super quick despite coming from Italy.
  11. I’ve got one and at £250 they’re a great addition to the home studio. All the bits work on mine and the apptek port works well with iPad / iPhone guitar / bass simulation apps. They take it from a useful practice amp to a great sim amp.
  12. Surely there is a spurious 1 added at the front of the price?
  13. Somebody posting a Mexican Fender P bass has wisely painted over the serial number to acquire a matching headstock. Or have they? Is it a Mex or not? https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F263734813613
  14. More like bogo esque.
  15. Unless you have £455 that you don’t want. If you really don’t want £455 and fancy nothing for it, then I can find a home for it..... Seriously though it looks just like the eBay scams stating that all bids / offers will be rejected and that completion is to be off eBay. To be fair to eBay they seem to be shutting those ads down very quickly now.
  16. They’re asking for completion of the transaction outside of amazon. They say all offers will be cancelled and to email directly. I think it’s just like the spate of eBay rick scams......
  17. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F202312676859 I share that for no other reason than the name. Im after the other model in the family, the Dickflange 400........
  18. Amplug vox bass series 2 AP2-BS headphone amp. Perfect condition as it’s been plugged in once. Has volume, tone, rhythm/ tempo controls, headphone out, line in and adjustable input for varying degrees of hot input. Great headphone practice amp. £25 including uk postage. Further afield will cost a little more.
  19. Up for sale only is my immaculate limited edition 2004 USA Fender Jazz deluxe FMT 4 string in tobacco burst. It has a fantastic, fast, slim 22 fret maple neck with rolled / bound rosewood fretboard with pearloid block inlays. Has gold hardware, noiseless samarium cobalt pickups, 18v active electronics with 3 band eq - vol, balance, bass, mid, treble, through body bridge and comes in the original case with all hang tags / case candy. It is in great condition with no dings, has only a couple of minor surface scratches where caught by a belt on the back (that may polish out), is strung with brand new Ernie ball slinky, has low action, weighs in under 9lbs, has gold schaller strap buttons and original fender strap buttons / locks and it plays superbly. Those are not scratches on pic 7 on the body sculpting. The scratches mentioned are tiny and just next to the sculpting. I will ship it anywhere at the buyers cost, can deliver within 50 mile radius of Chester or can meet up. This is a superb, immaculate, rare, top of the range fender jazz bass. I’m only selling as my fascination with Geddy Lee basses continues unhealthily. I just bought a jap Geddy Lee jazz. Sale only ideally but may take a cheaper bass in part exchange.
  20. It sure does but ebay just take the easy route and shut down the ads.
