  1. They’re asking for completion of the transaction outside of amazon. They say all offers will be cancelled and to email directly. I think it’s just like the spate of eBay rick scams......
  2. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F202312676859 I share that for no other reason than the name. Im after the other model in the family, the Dickflange 400........
  3. Amplug vox bass series 2 AP2-BS headphone amp. Perfect condition as it’s been plugged in once. Has volume, tone, rhythm/ tempo controls, headphone out, line in and adjustable input for varying degrees of hot input. Great headphone practice amp. £25 including uk postage. Further afield will cost a little more.
  4. Up for sale only is my immaculate limited edition 2004 USA Fender Jazz deluxe FMT 4 string in tobacco burst. It has a fantastic, fast, slim 22 fret maple neck with rolled / bound rosewood fretboard with pearloid block inlays. Has gold hardware, noiseless samarium cobalt pickups, 18v active electronics with 3 band eq - vol, balance, bass, mid, treble, through body bridge and comes in the original case with all hang tags / case candy. It is in great condition with no dings, has only a couple of minor surface scratches where caught by a belt on the back (that may polish out), is strung with brand new Ernie ball slinky, has low action, weighs in under 9lbs, has gold schaller strap buttons and original fender strap buttons / locks and it plays superbly. Those are not scratches on pic 7 on the body sculpting. The scratches mentioned are tiny and just next to the sculpting. I will ship it anywhere at the buyers cost, can deliver within 50 mile radius of Chester or can meet up. This is a superb, immaculate, rare, top of the range fender jazz bass. I’m only selling as my fascination with Geddy Lee basses continues unhealthily. I just bought a jap Geddy Lee jazz. Sale only ideally but may take a cheaper bass in part exchange.
  5. It sure does but ebay just take the easy route and shut down the ads.
  6. I keep seeing these duplicate posts and report them straight away. They hack a decent seller and then list a load of gear. Note it’s always the same email though: [email protected] Avoid, report, do whatever to stop someone being tempted and losing money.
  7. Here’s another one. Same bass as offered yesterday by a different user, Great feedback but completion of buy it now off ebay https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F312126820131 Always the same email though [email protected]
  8. These type of ads keep popping up. The same seller lists the same item from multiple locations and they all state the same thing; buy it now but completed off eBay but under eBay buyer protection. If you look at the feedback the seller has sold a load of old tat and then list a load of expensive items; Rolex watches, decent guitars etc etc, all to be completed in the same way. The thing that fools you is that the seller ID keeps changing. Certainly one to avoid despite the temptation of bagging a bargain, the reality being you’ll bag nothing. I wonder if there is a way of testing them out somehow.

  10. Thats just reminded me that one of my toilet seats needs changing.
  11. I can’t see anything up with it. Its a lovely Fernie ball preciseman
  12. Can't figure why that Trace is only £50. Surely £250 of anyone's money. Or am I wrong? Is everyone down sizing, using IEM and lightweight gear? Have old school combos really depreciated that much? It is 50kg after all I guess.......getting that in and out of the fiesta's gonna be a challenge singe handed.........
  13. Bump. Any trades out there?

    SOLD

Price dropped to £895 Up for grabs (again) is my 1992/3 USA Musicman Sterling bass in natural satin with rosewood fretboard. Sale only as I just bought my dream Jazz bass so something has to give..... I will post anywhere but it will need to be insured so will be around £45 UK and £60 to Europe. I can also meet up within a reasonable distance of Chester. This is from the first run of USA MM sterling basses and is extremely rare, having the recessed neck plate, chrome battery cover, a highly figured maple neck and rare mute pad bridge (with mute pads removed for now as the action is low). These were only produced in this spec for about a year. It's only just been set up by Ged Green - top luthier in Manchester - and as far as I know it has never been gigged. The previous owner was bought it new in the 90s by his Dad, tried bass, didn't like it and then parked it for 20+ years in a case in the loft. I got it from him and it was dirty but in really good condition. It had the neck treated with lemon oil, frets levelled and polished, truss adjusted, action set nice and low and intonation set. It also has new Ernie ball slinkly strings on. According to Ged it has hardly ever been played. It plays like a dream and sounds fantastic. The 22 fret neck is 1.5" at the nut and is super smooth. It has a single Humbucker with 3 band Eq and the 3 way toggle switch for parallel / single coil / series selection for the ceramic phantom coil pickup. The body is smaller than the Stingray and with the narrower nut, slimmer neck and lighter body it is - in my opinion - way easier to get on with and tonally more flexible than it's big ugly cousin the Stingray!! It has schaller strap buttons and I'll throw in a leather strap with schaller locks. It weighs in around 9lbs and comes with a MM case in really good condition - although this isn't the original case. The body is finished in satin lacquer and there are hardly any marks on it although there is a little surface mark near the pickup selector switch. There is also a minor ding on the top of the headstock and the chrome tuners and bridge are a little tarnished but not rusty. All in all it is in superb condition. As for trades, let me know what you have - so long as there's cash my way then it will appease the Mrs
