It's like losing a family member but it's gone gone gone....... Its with a heavy heart that I have to sell my favourite sounding amp of all time - the Eden Metro 2 x 10 combo. I only got it a short while back but due to illness am retiring from playing (so watch out for lost of other goodies for sale). The sound from this combo is absolutely superb. You will not fail to cut through any mix. It has 2 brand new 8 ohm 350w Eminence Delta drivers in meaning it runs at 4 0hms not 8 ohms giving you 400w in the stand alone set up rather than the original 280w. It can run down to 2 ohm with another cab but you wouldn't need one. It has 2 channels, one with simple bass, mid, treble and the other with semi parmetric Eq. It has tube preamp (with new tube), on board compressor, DI out, horn control and delivers clear punchy pure bass tone. It dates from 2001 but has just been serviced by Dave Lunt in Stockport so is checked over and gig ready. I've gigged it twice and rehearsed twice since getting it so it's not even seen much recent action recently. In fact probably not for a while as the previous owner had emigrated 4 years ago and left it at home with his mum...... I'm only selling as I've stopped playing and have sold all my gear. It comes with an ashdown cover and has new heavy duty wheels for ease of movement. It weighs in at 32kg I'd rather it was collected or I can meet up within a reasonable distance of Chester (circa 50 miles).

70s Fender P in Antigua - £400
vinorange replied to Jono Bolton's topic in eBay - Weird and Wonderful
Just a question on ethics here; Is it really so wrong to scour the pages of gumtree or shpock until you find something being under sold and then to maybe ebay it some time later? I say good on you to those with eagle eyes and willingness to travel to source a bargain.............. -

After some advice if anyone has done this. Just re acquired a Japanese Jaguar bass but had forgotten that the pickups are either on or off in active and passive mode. There's no blend pot. Is there a way to add a blend option for both circuits using a stack pot for volume / blend and a further pot just for tone. As ever though it's better to take advice from anyone who might have done this........ Or no doubt there's someone out there with a shed load more knowledge than me. Thanks

Just noticed this on ebay and wondered why there are no bids. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fender-Geddy-Lee-Jazz-Bass/202057739946?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649 The seller has good feedback and I can't see any reference to him as a scammer on here. £400 is reasonable for a genuine Geddy Lee Mex..........

I recently renewed my fascination with Eden products and found a very cheap Eden Metro combo. The speakers were knackered but the amp is working ok. I have popped in 2 new speakers and so far do good but I want an amp tech to give it a dammed good service (we all need one every now and again) before I let it loose at volume. Based near delamere but will take it a reasonable distance for a recommendation. Thanks

Reduced to £350 and possible trade is my wonderful lightweight Zoot cab. It's loaded with 4 x 10" 300w lightweight celestion neodymium drivers, controllable high frequency horn, and weighs in at a very managable 23kg. It's superb and has been used sparingly between me and it's previous owner. I've gigged it a dozen times or so and it had virtually no use with its previous owner. The celestion drivers - if you could get 300w neos - would cost about £500 for 4 so you get a free crossover, horn and cabinet and £150 to spend. Based in Cheshire but can meet up, deliver or ship. Spiel from a post I found on the Zoot cab; Zoot Bass Guitar cabinets are hand built in the UK. Constructed from an ultra light-weight high grade birch plywood developed exclusively for Zoot. The design blends top of the range custom Celestion neo drivers, Eminence tweeter and Eminence crossovers that guarantee fantastic sound and sensitivity, Zoot bass are highly acclaimed manufacturers of Bass Guitars and have applied the same Bass Guitar experience to produce a great sounding 4x10" cab that weighs less than 23.5kg. Other features include Gig resistant carpeted covering, high impact plastic corners, recessed carry handles, tough metal grille. "Excellent value for money try and find a lighter 4x10 that has a comparable heavyweight sound."

Up for sale only is my Tech 21 Bass fly rig - a superb DI / multi effects bag of superb sounding tricks. Acquired on here (from Stealth) only a month or two ago since which I've sold a lot of stuff and almost entirely changed my set up and found I don't really need it in my set up now. Featuring at its core the Sansamp character control, 3 band eq, drive control for grind, octafilter, chorus, compressor, boost and a tuner for free too. It's in as new condition on account of never having been out of my house nor Stealth's (see prior link http://basschat.co.u...__fromsearch__1) Comes in its original funky Tech 21 tin, with original power supply, instructions and unregistered warranty card. £200 posted. Pics to follow

Up for grabs is a kiogon harness that was on my precision lyte. I've been in touch with john to check and it's a 3 alpha mini pot version so could suit any 2 pick up bass with the right number of holes for controls..... Orientation is volume, volume, tone and has a switch craft jack socket. £20 shipped

Bought brand new and never fitted is this hazz bass control plate with volume, blend and tone control, the volume being a push / pull pot to engage series or parallel operation of your jazz pups. It supposedly adds precision bass like thump to your jazz bass. A great upgrade that I'm not going do as I'm downsizing and getting rid of any spares I won't be using. I never got round to fitting it so it's brand new. Will come with wiring instructions. £15 posted Thanks for looking
