No I don't. Well. Not the solo stuff, seemed alright in a band context when I've heard clips.

I thought that said Ampeg on it for a moment, and was about to get ready to laugh at the expected silly price. I concur with the others, the wedge looks solid, but cabs are a tad heavy, if all the weight isn't going straight down, I'd want something to make sure it won't slide. They're quite cunning though, as you'd need to buy two of them for normal use, one to tilt the cabs, and another to tilt the head back to being level and stable.

Isopropyl alcohol or meths is fine. You could search the forums for the method, there was a string cleaning topic not long ago, but I'm dashing off to lectures and haven't got time myself. Basically, it involves some cheap as chips PVC piping + end caps, some silicone to seal one end properly, and a hook.

Pfft, real men listen to Swordmetal, ala Man O' War and DragonForce (who've stepped away in their last albums, heathens). Edit: Page 3! Woo!
I was at junior school with a girl called Elizabeth Clegg who was a little on the er... chubby side. I thought it would be funny to tell her that she should form a rock band and call it Fat Cleggy (rather than Thin Lizzy). She kicked me in the nuts. I learnt a valuable lesson that day.
Yeap, you were standing 6 inches too close.

No bass? SHUUUUUUUNNN, SHHHHHHHHHHHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNN!

Shania Twain, or is that too pop country? Dolly Parton, Joleen, 9 till 5? Jonny Cash...nuff said. On the whole it does seem a bit stale at times, but most of the western views of country music is pretty much American country music.

Understated but lovely. I especially like the head stock, I wish Gibson would reissue this series (along with the Ripper and Grabber).
Why?
IE (in various incantations) is full of holes, runs scripts, like activex etc..... Free porn sites are notorious for hosting nasties (not always directly, can be via adverts and such, inc popups). Just use the profiles function in FF or Opera (or any other browser) and run things like the NoScript extension. Granted, I've yet to find a way to directly access the profiles in FF3, but it was there in FF2.

Bridge, nut, pickups, body wood, neck width, frets, and neck finish are the differences as donated by the spec sheets on the Squier website. Bridge -> VMP uses the old bent tin and the CV uses the new HMV. Nut -> VMP uses plastic, CV uses the superior synthetic bone. Pups -> Both using AlNiCo 5 magnets apparently, one is a Fender one, the other is designed by Seymour Duncan. Neck Finish -> VMP has a satin neck, CV has gloss. Wood -> VMP is agathis, CV is basswood. Neck Width -> VMP is slightly slimmer at the nut with a 1.625" compared to the CV's 1.65". Frets -> CV uses vintage frets, VMJ uses medium jumbo. Spec lists: Classic Vibe P Vintage Modified P Take your pick of what you prefer, or go to a shop, pick up and play. Find a good one. Buy. Personally I'd say the CV has an all round better spec and I'd look at that first.
I'm f***ing rubbish. See how bad I am at www.myspace.com/gimmeshelta What a shameless plug. But it's true. I'm bad but add a certain sex offender charm to the precedings. xx
It's true, he dresses up as Gary Glitter for the toilet circuit gigs.

Wot WoT said All goods are *generally* covered by law in the UK stating that they should last at least 12 months of normal use in normal conditions, within that 12 months if it breaks, stuff is generally refundable. There are different lengths pertaining to specific item groups, electronics must last 12 months of use while doing the task it was designed to do, and I think musical instruments fit under a very similar part of the consumer acts. So, go back asap and tell them its broken. And the 28 Days by the store will be for refunds on non-faulty goods, aka, the return period, different to your consumer rights.

Hmm, the scratchplate and pup and bridge covers are missing I see, does the chap still have them?
-
Look at the state of that, it's terrible, worth skipping imo. Tell you what, give it to me and I'll dispose of it for you, no charge, not even the petrol for me to come and collect it.

My god, I'm a bastard for being this mean, but does no-one actually read the stickies? This post is even in the right subforum as the Humming and Buzzing sticky: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=194 There, read that. Do the stuff it says. Problem sorted 95% of the time.

Mmm, lovely Neepheid. Hmm, shame it's got chrome hardware, otherwise I'd offer you my now going spare black supertone bridge for it, although it might not fit very well anyway due to the carved top *flashbacks of the routed bridge in the Fender Aerodyne* Although I second the motion it should be worn low, it's got to be at least level with your balls for when you're giving the song a bit o' b*llocks

How about DIY? Bill Fitzmaurice does a couple of passive ones iirc, wouldn't be too much of a stretch to couple those with Thomann's own brand poweramps to basically make them active.

*Ahem* Bump for fun as this is a interesting build and I want to see what happened. Hyuk!
-
That chrome pickguard (moreso the photography) has given me an excellent plan if I ever do get a P, I'll be having a brushed aluminium scratchplate. Mmmm.

I think it's a good front page, I'm not a big fan of coffee tables (bassmonsters deep purple over flamed maple is jaw droppingly lush though), so that Jazz is a good example. While I'm here, Ferret, weren't you going to get a fretted counterpart for your black stealth fretless at one point?
-
Aye, I concur, that's quite nice. I mean, I'd have a tort plate on it, and one less knob (but bigger ones), and I'm not a fan of the huge pole pieces in those delano pups, but still a looker.

That's tasty that is.
You mean like brand estabilishment? Both are almost cultural icons?
That's the doo dah yeah, which seemed to be a theme of the OP's post.
