2. Cabs now sold, thanks all. May sell poweramp soon but I'll think about it Cheers ped
3. May split as I have had interest in the 4x8 (interested party already has paired cab) Definitely best used as a pair for amazing full range sound. Cheers ped
4. Time to move these on as they don't fit into my car! They sound lovely - never been happier with a set of cabs. Here are the specs: 4x8 Introduced in 1994, the 4x8 was originally designed to be run as an extension to the Silverado Combo but later became popular as part of a modular system that included the Bass 350 and Basic 2-Way. The 4x8 was discontinued in 1997. The Basic 2-Way was discontinued in 1998. Impedance: 8 ohms Power Handling Capacity: 250 watts RMS One 15" PAS driver One Piezo tweeter Weight: 59 lbs Size: 22"W x 20"H x 16.5"D Production Period: 1992 to 1998 Final Retail Price: $599.00 (taken from SWR site) I'm looking for £350 for the pair, collected from Maidenhead. Prefer not to split as they work best as a pair anyway. Amp in the pic not for sale yet but may be talked into it at a later date. Really sorry about the pics, I'll get some better ones tomorrow. Here are some pics of the 4x8 (not mine) but it shows the inputs etc. Cheers ped
5. I'll ask someone to look into it - perhaps the new IP is blocked for some reason. Will be in touch, cheers ped
6. More washers, then! I can see your pictures now (at home) ped
7. Can you two please PM me your details (paypal addresses you used to order) and I'll chase these up. Certainly not good enough they haven't arrived. Perhaps I'll have a new one sent out from the new supplier I have set up free of charge with my apologies. Perhaps they will still turn up. Cheers
8. Ah OK. Try putting a matchstick into the hole and then screw the buttons to the bass. You could put a rubber washer between the bass and the button too.
9. Sorry, your image is blocked at work!! The Schaller type to rattle a bit when secured, there's a bit of 'play' in the socket but it's quite safe. Personally I like these http://www.dangleberrymusic.co.uk/p-185-boston-guitar-strap-locks-chrome-ultrasafe-strap-lock-system-for-guitar-and-bass.aspx they are really secure and the part which attaches to the strap is more secure. On the schallers you need to add a second nut otherwise it gets loose!
10. Are they schaller type?
11. Thanks Liam. We have a big list of jobs still to do and I'm beavering away most evenings on it. Ben has done all the technical stuff and is working really hard but he's been away for the last few days. Thanks for the support ped
12. Raffle ones are going to be delivered on Friday hopefully, It's coming from the new supplier hence the delay. New supplier has been secured though and I'm going to get some test orders up and running before launching the shop as open. ped
13. What about Bass Gear? http://www.bassgear.co.uk/
14. I hope so. I have taken the shop down for a few days whilst I switch supplier. ped
15. Haha some people will never learn. Glad you like the shirt, let's start a thread with you posing in your shirts ped
16. Thanks guys, Ben is away this weekend but we're looking at it. We tried using Amazon hosting for images but then didn't, so maybe it's to do with that. News soon! ped
17.
Tell you what Ped. Don't envy you on this one. Was all done with good intentions on your part so hopefully guys will all be patient for a few more days. I think I'll wait a few weeks to let dust settle before ordering mine. Hope it all works out and you can relax a bit and not worry yourself so much. Cheers Dave
Thanks Dave. You won't envy the supplier either when I'm done with him. At the end of the day there's no excuse for it and I should probably have done a few test runs before hitting them with a large first batch but I have learned my lesson. If it's any help the guy is back and 100% on the task from Monday so any orders from then will be sent right out first class. I bet I sound like a broken record, but basically I told him that he's probably cost me dearly with all the negative publicity this has caused. I'm certainly not paying him in full... ped
18.
Nope
Oh the competition winner polos have only just been sent yesterday mate so those will be with you in the week
19.
Mine was ordered on 11th September and still hasn't arrived. I'm not impressed. Ped, it's a great shame that you didn't ask for recommendations for a reputable supplier - I could have recommended a friend who runs a custom shirt, clothing and guitar strap supply and embroidery business, who would have done a much better job.
To be fair Pete you don't know who I called. The shirts are a standard polo used by countless brands and companies. You haven't had yours yet which I have tried to explain the reasons for. The fact you paid on the 11th is immaterial as I have said all along that they wouldn't be dispatched until last Thurs. Feel free to send me your friends details Thanks
20.
PED,dont do anything.I've PMd you.Alls well.
Too late mate refund sent, don't worry it's fine. I'm off to Pamlieri's for a chorizo panini and a sit down ped
21.
I like it!
Well done mate you have won a sticker (we're doing those next) - knowing my luck it won;t actually be sticky but it's the thought that counts!! Cheers (and cool Uke - I re-strung mine EADG so it's a mini bass!) ped
22.
Shirt arrived this morning.Frankly for £19 I expected better quality.I've bought sturdier shirts off Ebay for £7.Don't know about anybody else but mine arrived stuffed in a padded envelope. Not what I was expecting. However,I'll wear it with pride.
HI I am replying to your email at the moment. I have just called the guy and had a right bloody go at him (again). All this stress of the last few weeks is killing me, I'm sure! It's completely unacceptable for it to arrive in a ball. That wont happen again. The shirt should be as described, a decent quality polo. I'll refund you immediately (we'll talk via email) because if you aren't happy, I'm not happy (and neither wil the embroiderer be after I'm done with him) I hope everyone else is happy with theirs. From now on all shirts are going to be quality checked, folded up properly and posted via 1st class signed for post. Sorry you guys had to be the test pilots on this one. I'm going to have a lie down, I think I need to give the internet a rest for a few months ped
23. I had a real go at hem
24. I was rather shirty on the phone
25. Yeah no worries, typical though eh. Not a great advert! People reading this are probably thinking twice about buying a polo now!
