At the end of the day there's no excuse for it and I should probably have done a few test runs before hitting them with a large first batch but I have learned my lesson. If it's any help the guy is back and 100% on the task from Monday so any orders from then will be sent right out first class. I bet I sound like a broken record, but basically I told him that he's probably cost me dearly with all the negative publicity this has caused. I'm certainly not paying him in full... ped

The shirts are a standard polo used by countless brands and companies. You haven't had yours yet which I have tried to explain the reasons for. It's completely unacceptable for it to arrive in a ball. That wont happen again. The shirt should be as described, a decent quality polo. I'll refund you immediately (we'll talk via email) because if you aren't happy, I'm not happy (and neither wil the embroiderer be after I'm done with him) I hope everyone else is happy with theirs. Yeah no worries, typical though eh. Not a great advert! People reading this are probably thinking twice about buying a polo now!

Just called the supplier and chewed his ear right off. Basically the first batch had to be posted by the embroiderer which the shirt supplier paid them to do, on Thursday. Normally the supplier would post them themselves, but there was a deal the guy had to conclude in Scotland coincidentally hence the guy asking the embroiderer for a favour. The embroiderer has, in my eyes, basically failed to post the shirts quickly. They used second class post and I have asked for PROOF that they were posted on thursday but I really can't imagine they were. From now on all shirts will be posted by the supplier ALONE, and by recorded delivery (I'll have to add £0.77 to the price though) All in all it's a combination of a big first order, an unfortunate clash in events and a bloody big embarassment for me. Everything will be back up to speed with first class recorded delivery and 48hr dispatch from Monday.... The first batch orders will be with you tomorrow I hope. Really not happy with them at all, but I'm getting it sorted. Cheers ped

Cheers - I'm in pretty constant contact with the supplier and whilst it has it's advantages, it's a bit worrying not being able to actually post them myself in some ways. The guy I'm using is very trustworthy and now we have some stock built up it will be pretty slick. Because I chose to make P&P free, it's going second class post. I'm going to look into the OPTION of selecting first or express class delivery if you wanted, but will need a bit of time to set that up and organise it.
