I've been tempted by the TC BG250 which has 4 speaker options using the same amp section, has TonePrint and built in tuner. BUT, I;m worried that it won't have enough clout when you need it. I also have my "big rig" which has a 400w head, and a 1 x 15 and a 2 x 10 GK cabs. I can't help thinking that if I swapped out the big 400 head for a class D lightweight, then the world really would be my ointment. Mind you the TC looks impressive for the bucks.

Watched on YouTube last week, a documentary on John Entwistle which hinted at the magic between the two of them. Amazing rhythm section!!!! if you could call it that!

Isn't the EB0 30.5 inch? EB3 is 34. Being as I've spent my entire life wanting to be Jack Bruce, it seems only natural etc etc.....

At least it's only 10 seconds long! That's about as much jazz as I can take!

I have just collected a Hohner Headless. All a bit weird at the moment, it seems like it's all neck and my left hand is too far from the body. Soon get used to it I'm sure. It's a posh one with active circuits and a de-tuner, so there! All set for an 80's revival.

I see his other listing is for a Cornet. Perhaps he is a former member of Milli Vanilla.

Mind you, if it's block inlay markers you want, look no further than a £200 Epi EB3

Do the 30.5" scale ones dive as bad as the 34" ones?

Trouble is, when you try a bass in a shop, you sit with it on your knee. I was planning to try and EB3 tomorrow, I am now forewarned, thanks.

I had exactly the same on a £50 Jazz copy I foolishly bought from Ebay. It seems they always snap when they are almost right? I did the same, bearing in mind I wasn't too bothered about the result as I only wanted something for taking outdoors with me when fishing! Drilled a hole in the heel and pulled and pulled. Welded, replaced etc etc, cost me nothing but saved throwing it away, but I couldn't keep it after that, sold it on to a mate for £40.00, lesson learned. Mate gave it to his son, who apparently played it in the Cavern Club in Liverpool, so can't be all bad.
