Bought a lovely bass from Andrew. All as described .... plus he drove the not-inconsiderable distance from the Kent coast to London to ensure it was safely delivered. Top marks!
I was 6/7 in 1970 and living in Melbourne, Australia. The only song I actually remember from that year was Tiny Tim singing "Tiptoe through the tulips" on a river boat procession in Melbourne. Confusing

H to He who am the only one - Van Der Graaf Generator
(Not including Floyd's Atomic Heart Mother as its a bit pants compared with the subsequent few albums)
@discreetwas always entertaining and also a fine bassist (I saw him play live with Pigbag maybe 10 years ago). I recall he did occasionally take breaks from BC and this may be another of those
I also quit for a few years for my own reasons (which I won't go into). But obviously I had to return at some point so I could resume losing money on buying and selling basses.
Mine is going back up FS as I still have too many basses (I know). One BCer had first dibs but hasn't been on the site since Sunday and not replied to my PM so I am not sure if he is still interested?
Edit: the BCer concerned had COVID this week, which means I am going to hold fire on putting mine up FS. Only fair to the poor dude
Looks stunning from that one pic ... but can I be 'that guy' that says more pics would help move this lovely bass on fast? Plus more details, eg weight. Either way, GLWYS!
I plan on (yes I know ....) reducing my electric bass collection to 2 (from 4) and my EUB/upright collection to 2 (from 3) so I guess that means I have reverse GAS (is that vacuum?).
That said, I am likely to move on my nearly-new R*ck 4003 and replace with a nice old (or old-looking) Precision. So my GAS is for a nice P bass to add to my phenomenal 1983 Fullerton '62 Jazz.
