  1. Paolo bought a Gruvgear duo strap from me and all was top class! Cheers
  2. Nice. Is that a Cliff Burton-era Aria Black n Gold bass too? Yum
  3. Bassdirect have a stripped 69 P bass for £3.5k, claimed to be all-original bar the finish https://www.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/Fender_Precision_1969.html
  4. On hold .... pending some international payment and collection arrangements
  5. Well he does drive home every year and petrol costs
  6. Anyone fancy this at £899 including UK shipping or £850 collected?
  7. Thank you! Going to take some time (cracked ribs take 3-6 weeks according to my friend Google) Meanwhile, I would take a near offer ... even though I think its underpriced as it is!!!!
  8. Wow, amazingly light and nice score! Calling @Lozz196
  9. Bought a lovely retro Kay reissue bass off Kris. Very friendly comms, bass packed to withstand nuclear assault, all excellent! Many thanks
  10. Went on a supposed "beginner's" horse ride last week, was bucked off and have cracked ribs and damaged right shoulder. Cannot play a bass at all as also lacerated left index finger on rein while being thrown. Am sure I will recover but it may take some time. I know the BC Basses For Sale forum relies on me, so I have that as an incentive to get better
  11. Nothing specific @Beedster Was just browsing a bunch of basses and one had an ebony board, so it was more for future reference and curiosity. Besides, after last week's horse riding accident, I couldn't pick up a ukelele let alone a bass
  12. Hopefully someone will be along to answer this: If one were to import a bass from the US, would it require CITES documentation if it had an ebony fingerboard? Thx
  13. Bumping this to keep it on the radar. Please note, due to riding accident last week (resulting in cracked ribs etc), I do not currently have the physical ability to pack etc but I reckon it should be possible within a week (or at least I hope so)
  14. Tremendous playing on that video. 👏
  15. More rock than disco but has those late 70s electronic drums: Rock n Roll Fantasy - Bad Company
  16. Hmmmm, its between Black Diamond, RnR All Nite and Crazy Crazy Nights for me. However, on the wholly logical grounds I had an electric Kiss toothbrush that played it as I cleaned my pegs, its gotta be RnR All Nite
  17. Need to get yourself over to the Off Topic .... Dogs thread, Richard and introduce Olive! Link here: Meanwhile, once I have recovered sufficiently to swap strings, play around with truss rod etc, there is an interested BCer who wants to see if this AVRI 62J holds up with lower tension rounds. On a sort of 'soft hold' for him as I just am not up to it physically right now.
  18. On hold, pending me recovering sufficiently from horse bucking injury to be able to post
  19. Nope, Pablo and Woody the sausage dogs! (Weird mid-blink shot of Pablo)
  20. Definitely cannot use the dual strap as went on a supposed "beginner's" horse ride yesterday, was bucked off and have cracked ribs and damaged right shoulder. Cannot play a bass at all in fact as also lacerated left index finger on rein while being thrown. Woop
  21. I put in a dummy UK address and it comes to £37 delivered via ParcelForce 48 (or £80 with UPS, eeeek)
  22. Reckon you will enjoy the Mustang, Loz. With La Bella Mustang flats, my old one sounded sufficiently close to a Precision in my country punk band that I doubt anyone in the audience would have noticed the difference sound-wise. Example: VID-20191214-WA0002.mp4
