2. I’d love to...I love these Yamaha’s....but I’m a bit boracic at the moment!

4. Just bought TC BG500 210combo from Mick. Fantastic friendly guy and a real gentleman. Thanks for being so helpful and for a great sale. Looking forward to a play with the Amp tomorrow. thanks again!
5. Got any photos? Size of cab would be useful to know as well, cheers.
6. Measured the Audi - it won’t fit! So I’ll have to pass, which is a pity as I know Peavey cabs are great.
7. Hi Tuco, your phone doesn’t seem to be receiving texts. I’ve tried sending but no luck. I may well be interested in your cab, but need to know it’s dimensions to see if it will fit in my car first. cheers Phil
8. Hi Laurie, Real sorry but it has literally just been sold today - I just came on here to change the listing to 'SOLD' and saw your post. ATB Phil
9. Moogs do have a sound all of their own - and its primarily a that of a fuzzy, slightly detuned oscillator - which is actually musically pleasing. Having said that I have owned Minioog's (original), more recently the Voyager, Voyager XL, Voyager Old School, and played about with the Little/Sub/Sub 37 Phatty's. All very nice, but there is a little bit of 'myth' going on about how superior their sound is - the rest of the world has caught up and we are spoilt for choice. Not least in software emulations! Monark is good, but try Arturia's Minimoog V - I believe you can download a free demo. Having said all that the 'one knob per function' tweakability of classic Moog instruments is the appeal - you won't go far wrong with a Sub37, and don't worry about the third oscillator - most of the classic vintage synth sounds were adequately made on 2, not 3. Remember the original Minimoog mostly used the third oscillator as a modulation source. The best VFM at the moment in monosynths is unquestionably the Arturia Matrixbrute - its basically a hardwired modular studio in box and for only about 400 sovs more than a Sub37, which I hate to say it, it easily outclasses. Of course this is a Bass forum - the daddy is clearly the Moog Taurus III Pedals - now sadly out of production. If you see a set going second hand buy them. No, scrub that, tell me first - I'll buy them!!!
10. Christmas day bump - put down that turkey drumstick and invest in your bass!! LOL Happy to entertain offers - get some post-Christmas GAS alleviated...no, not that kind!
11. My beautiful USA Fender Deluxe precision. Circumstances force sale - you've no doubt heard that before - unfortunately its true. Complete with custom hard case, and a beautiful Bass Centre leather strap, all original, fitted with Fender-branded Schaller strap locks, and improved with a Babicz Full Contact Bridge (one of the best bridge designs out there IMHO), and strung with Bass Centre Elites flatwound strings. Original Fender hex key for adjusting neck included. Runs both Active (18v) with 3 band EQ or Passive with tone control, has classic Precision Split Coil pickup and a Fender N3 noiseless single coil (Jazz type) at the bridge. It is a highly versatile instrument. Has a bit of Roger Water's vibe - black body and maple neck, its a gorgeous combination 'in the flesh' (pun intended). Unspoilt (although the odd scuff may show up under harsh light on the gloss black - pretty unavoidable), but it does have the signature of Colin Wilson, long time bassist for the famous Australian Pink Floyd Show (aussiefloyd.com) on the back of the headstock. This may or may not put you off! But it shouldn't as its such a lovely bass to play. Bass was restrung and set up by Chris Ward - legendary bass tech at The Bass Centre, last year - its playing perfectly. Welcome to come and try it, this originally retailed for £1600, and current equivalent models are selling at more than that. This is a lot of bass! Collection from Cheshunt in Hertfordshire, or I'm sure we can arrange something with transport or meeting halfway. See also in Amps & Cabs for sale, a great Warwick LWA1000 head and Orange Cab.
12. For sad reasons which I shan't dwell on here, it has become necessary for me to give up playing bass for the foreseeable future, and the rig is too good to stay in storage. I'll be keeping one or two bits, but up for sale now is my main head. Warwick LWA1000 - NOW SOLD Orange SP210 Isobaric Cabinet - NOW SOLD
13. For sale - Boss BCB30 pedalboard case with audio and power leads, plus a genuine Boss PSA-230ES pedal supply. In great condition, has been used so some abrasion to the internal plastic in two of the pedal pockets where velcro was used to secure two non-Boss pedals, other than that good as new! Proper Boss power supply, not a cheap pattern supply that induces hum and mains noise in your circuit! £25 plus postage or pick up from me - South Hertfordshire, Cheshunt

This example has just completed a full electronic and functional restoration, so is now functioning as well as a new one! Details of the restoration work below. Cosmetically it is very clean with just a few marks to the chassis and end cheeks. Why the Wavestation? It was significantly different to anything else of its time, designed and built by the ex-Sequential Circuits engineers who designed the Prophet-VS. The whole principle of digital wavetable synthesis and wave sequencing opens up sonic possibilities not available to analog, FM or conventional ROMpler synths. You won't find any piano sounds here. This is a pad instrument, great for evolving soundscapes and complex layered sound design. You can read a great deal more about the Wavestation at the following links: http://www.musicrada...estation-604114 http://www.vintagesy...wavestation.php I came into ownership of this instrument a while back and its been 'on the back burner' as a project for me. As a bass player I just dabble in synthesisers as I'm fascinated with electronic sound design. I then decided it wasn't for me to play with and it needed a new home, but in all conscience I couldn't sell it as is! It need a full electronic and mechanical restore by an expert - step in Andrew Jury - AKA Synth Prof! (www.synthprof.com). An ex-Marconi engineer, Andrew is one of the country's top experts in vintage synthesiser restoration and the following work has been completed by him to make this awesome synthesiser as good as new! Andrews report on the restoration: Strip down unit to component parts. Clean and de-fluff chassis works and screening cans. Replace all electrolytic capacitors on both CPU and analogue processing board. Chemically treat jacks and potentiometers. Re-grease both wheel and joystick action centres. Replace EL backlight and tactile switches on control panel PCB. Re-solder connections to rotary encoder. Replace CR2032 NVRAM backup battery. Strip keyboard. Clean keyboard, keys and contact strip. Reassemble and test. EL backlight not working. 10Vac only at inverter transformer terminal when under load. Replace transform to return full 120Vac. Perform RAM init and reload factory data from SYSEX. Functional test. So this really is one of the best examples of this synth out there at the moment. They do appear on eBay from time to time, but buyer beware! Welcome to visit and test at any time - just PM me.
