1. Flamin' great bump for this pedal and BCB30. Got to go, just taking up space. Offers please!
2. DP, ever unfashionable Just about sums it up! Like it!
3. Nice one Cosmo - we can swap notes here afterwards!
4. Anybody heading to Greenwich on the 3rd to hear this 'Age Concern' concert? I really hope we're in for a rocking' show - Purple on a good day are brilliant, on an off day... See you there! Bandana's optional for visiting bassists!
5. [s]Superb compact mixing desk, typical Soundcraft quality, designed to be used as part of a home music studio, but equally at home as a compact desk for live use. Complete with power supply. Plenty of resources on the web reference this great little mixer. £100 - collect or I can cost out postage.[/s] Decided I'll keep this - Moderators, can you please delete this thread? Thank you.
6. Set of four Hipshot HB6 - 1/2" Ultralight Tuners bought for a build project that never happened. Clover leaf keys, chrome, sized for 11/16" headstock holes (1/2" string post) £60 inc. registered post to UK addresses.
7. I have noticed that Barry takes ages to reply to emails - I'd ring him up and ask to speak to him - thats what I did.
8.
I really would consider a Mix n Match Bass Collection. I have a a scheme in mind. Are the Bass Centre doing these for anyone that requests them now?
Well, I requested and Barry Moorhouse delivered, so I would ask them! Love the avatar by the way - bit of a Patrick McGoohan fan!
9.
it's sad but true that some people won't give you respect unless your Fender-shaped bass has Fender on the headstock.
Their loss I say.
10. I'm sure there's an untapped market in Fender headstock decals eh? I really don't care what other people think of my rig, although its very nice when compliments are paid. The real joy comes when I pick up the bass and play through the amp and the pleasure is visceral. Its the kick I get from playing a unique one-off cab, perfectly voiced; a custom built bass exactly set up exactly as I want it, and an amp that is one of about 20 ever made and the sweet thump they all produce. The sheer luxury of the build, the controls and the music - file under heading 'guilty pleasures'!
