1. Lovely looking rig you got there!
2. Without you telling us the tone or sound you are going for, it is hard to suggest what would be best for you. The Beta is a great pedal if you are looking for a nice Soul/bassy sound (Ampeg B-15 comes into mind), but the bass boost might be a problem for your Streamliner as the amp is on the darker side of things. I personally went for a COG Knightfall after Tom suggested it for my custom build "The Octabass". The Knightfall is a versatile drive that can go from nice and clean with an edge to distorstion. I cannot coment on the Darkglass as I only own the B3K and I have never been interested in the Aguilar. The are a gazillion drives in the market, which is a good and a bad thing at the same time... Good luck mate!
3. Hi all, Do not know if this has been covered yet, but I just saw this review at Premier Guitar. http://www.premierguitar.com/articles/21905-red-witch-factotum-suboctave-bass-drive-review Price tag is a little high and you could get a separate OD and Octaver for the same £££. What do you guys think?
4. Great basses these Yamaha BB's. I have a '79 BB1200 and it is a killer bass with a great P pick-up and sustain for days due to the neck-through construction. Macca used to play a lefty version of the BB1200 back in the day. GLWTS mate!
5. Great link with lots of info!
6. Hi Shaun, Lovely bass! Would you happen to know the exact year? GLWTS!
7. Isn't the Markbass octave pedal (small one, not the synth/octave) based on the OC-2? Same layout at least with the -2, -1 and dry controls.
8. Hi Matt, where are you based? (I'm using the mobile version).
9. Top guy Enrico, deal with confidence. GLWTSM, lovely P/J you got there!
10. I was all excited until I scrolled down... that was an extremely quick sale!
11. Lovely looking bass. What is the scale on it?
12.
free delivery though.
LOL!
13. Saw it a few weeks ago and I could not believe it, thought it was a typo on the web but apparently it is not...

Raygun FX

They look good!
15. Fender P-Bass Junior. It is slighter shorter than a "short scale 30-inch" I believe it is between 28 and 30" (specs online). Very rare to find and I came across mine at Wunjos in Denmark St. about 5 years ago. There is some info online, but it is basically a MIM Fender with a full sized p/up, 1 volume (no tone) and a string through/top loader bridge. Looks like a toy but it is an amazing player.
16. Say bye bye to your pedal... If your pedal cannot handle anything above 9v (check specs) do not even think about it. Some pedals can have an input range of 9-18v as higher voltage improves their headroom, but that depends on internal design and will always come in the manual and sometimes on the pedal.
17. Great pedal the Orbit FX Copilot for some experimental stuff. The fuzz combined with filter sounds unique and if you throw in an octaver before it and a Low Pass filter after... Heaven. The expression in comes in handy as you can modify the frequency on the fly. GLWTS mate!
18. G.A.S is and always will be a problem! I have gone through many boards in the past years and even when I think that I have managed to be happy, something new pops out or I get involved in a new project and I have to re-design it all again. I like it, it is a fun process.
19. +1 for the Phat Phuk B. It has an internal trim pot to tailor the breakup/dirt you get out of the pedal. Amazing piece of gear, I had a phase were I only used this pedal straight into the amp and always on. It makes my bass sound much better and it has only 1 knob! YAY!
I put my money on a Wren & Cuff Phat Phuk B. It fits right into your description! Used it for quite some time now and it's always on. Makes everything sound better imo
20. Amazing looking bass. I just wished I had the money for this one... GLWTS!
21. Kev is right. The B7K will be too aggressive in comparison to the BDDI. The Vintage is a good option.
22. I do prefer the second demo though (Pro Guitar Shop) That Ibanez sure sounds amazing and the intro is killer. The first demo sounds a bit too weak IMO, but for 60 quid and with the sound of the first demo... you cannot go wrong.
23. Hi Y'all! Electro Harmonix have released the Bass Soul Food. Sounds good to me on the YouTube review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q5fmd2lYOqg What do you think?
24. Never tried the Strymon, but I can say that the Neunaber is an awesome piece of gear.
