[/quote] i think when the tax return comes back i might just have to pull the trigger on this, i do like the small minifoogers but i kinda want the chorus and flanger, and the extra control that comes from the cluster flux does make it more appealing. andy

I recorded using my old tb1000 without a cab connected, without any issues as its a class d It doesn't need a load to run, valve power sections need a load but this is only a valve pre. Andy

if it has the brains of the new whammy's then it should be really accurate, but might be easier to drop tune the bass. and capo up if you need to play something in E standard andy

i use two diago power supplies to power my board, one would be enough but went with two to split the load and also as i use alot of dirt pedals wanted to reduce the risk of noise. andy

indeed i have, very nice, more fuzz than drive, but lots of filth and no loss of low end. andy

hey guys anyone done or know where to find a decent demo for one of these? thinking about pulling the trigger on one and can only find guitar demos which sound cool but wondering if anyone has used one of these with fuzz or dirt. and how'd you find it? andy

still up for a south west bash, bristol is a bit far for me to come as its about 4 hrs drive, but still up for an exeter bash for sure andy

depends if you want clean octave up? what are you going to use this for? pog is very digital and clean, you could try and look at an cog effects t-65 which has an effects loop to blend dirt pedals or other effects in with the octave, but the octave up is dirty and more to fill out the sound a bit more. andy

only good things to say about my esp, awesome bass and looks alot more pricey than it is, pluss the active eq is really good for getting alot of sounds out of the bass! it will also take random tunings, mine has a 175 low e for god sake! andy

hate to say it but sounds like you have tried to come up with a solution to a problem that never existed. to me if you want to go straight into a pa then get a preamp with a di like an vt bass or mxr m80 or sansamp, and di from that. with two pedals you could get an orange ish tone, say a sansamp and something to model an orange crunch, like a eqd monarch. andy
