6.
Nice demo, I just picked one of these up used and wasn't even planning to try it on bass but you've convinced me. Dumb question but is the blend control all the way off in the vid?
Thanks man Yeh it's full to the right so all fuzz, I love the fuzz circuit but I do bring in the crazy octave occasionally but need to be a. It careful tho
 7. So this is a revisit showing for a me a more usable sound from the blue box. Made its way back on the board after this as with my drives it's sounds great when stacked imo. https://youtu.be/rM4RqCIdb7s
 8. So only selling this as i want to fund some new pedals for my youtube channel. great all in one! sounds fantastic with bass and the fuzz is great and full sounding! all the modulation stuff works really well on bass and the tape echo is great alot of sounds for a small pedal! 220 quid posted to your door! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gla1bAOW9oE
 9. ok 75 quid and this is yours!
 10.
Hi - I've only just seen this thread, and I think I can make it too. If any interest I can bring my 1970's fender bassman 135 head, though unable to transport my cab down, so I'll need to borrow a cab if anybody wants to try the amp. Lots of pedals, plus a 1989 stingray and a 2003 AV62 P bass, depending on what I can fit in my car!
happy to let you borrow my cab for a bit mate gives my amp a break during the day
 11.
That is a very impressive bit of kit, there other pedals also look pretty special, might have to stick them on the list for when cash is a little better.
the primer is super cool! he made me a one of custom fitler trem that sounds mental!
 12. hey guys borrowed this of a friend and its awesome! Also its discontinued but pretty still worth checking out! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4cIhFAU44aU
 13. I use a Fuzzrocious afterlife, I actually use it before my drives sometimes
 14.
Been interesting reading. Doing some new stuff with a guy who's got a club/jazzy background and looking at having an octave effect to recreate some of his stuff. I'll be checking out the video clips later with headphones.
this might help aswell, as it shows the oc2 sounds they can be got for not alot of money at all! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_zCSdYOJybo&t=1s
 15. board for practice jam tonight!
 16. Selling this as im just not using it! great octave and also with the fifth up gives you a very cool chord sound when the upper octave and fifth are pushed. looking for £95 posted and will be in the box and like new having only been used in one demo. andy
 17. gonna have to suggest the lateral sound "Spore" great boost/drive/fuzz! well worth a look! andy
 18.
Give the soundman two separate feeds as suggested above. Andy - I would watch it if trying to blend a Torpedo with clean DI live. The Torpedo is digital so has a slight processing delay. This is only a few ms, so not big enough to be noticeable by itself, but if you mix that with clean you might experience comb filtering effects like a flanger stuck at one point of its sweep. This is a benefit of the analog nature of the OmniCabSim!
Interesting I hope to be able to try it out, the di would be a meatbox so not clean but thanks for the info
 19.
My query is this. Live, I aways send the bass to PA as well as through the cab on stage. I'll only usually do this through a mic'd cab or my Omnicabsim cab sim pedal, mainly the latter unless the sound guy kicks up a fuss. I wont DI straight from the amp as I find it sounds too unnatural by comparison. The Omnicabsim will sit in my amp's effects loop, with the dry out returning to the amp and the DI from the pedal going FOH. That being said, I'm warming to the idea of blending the signal I am sending to FOH, say 50% mic'd/omnicabsim and 50% DI from head, so I get the best of both worlds. What is the best way of me doing this?
This is a reason for me wanting to get a two notes torepedo I can give the sound desk an 810 mic'd sound with no mics so they can't complain, every time I try to send two signals to the pa they have a moan. I normally send my normal bass and a di which has the subs from my meatbox.
 20.
Really, I did a side by side comparison of the OC-2 & the T-16 and thought the COG got 95% there, closer than the Octabvre I thought.....plus what it could do with the rest of the filter, pretty versatile! Si
Have to agree, the t70 set up like the 16 when listening in the room sounds pretty spot on to the oc-2 hate to say it but the oc-3 sounds pretty damned close. I only noticed a difference when I close mic'd the cab for recording
 21. Ill be cheeky and say Cog T-70, alot of awesome sounds in one box the boss Oc-2 is great aswell tho! Andy
 22.
Hey, it's always best to use the gear you have. But what's better than best? That's right, new gear. Many DI boxes will accept a speaker output. So if you bought something like the incredible Countryman Type 85 (or one of it's cheaper or more expensive competitors) you could put that in between the amp and the speaker. And then you'd sound awesome.
needs to be a load box not a di but this is what i was saying you'd get the sound of your jcm not the svt sim of the vtdi
