1. Let's have a little listen and find out! https://youtu.be/TYjhhhX2Ee0
2. latest version of my big board!
3. The Bifet will also do what your after
4.
Looks interesting. Analogue or digital? The 5th option is cool. Look forward to your review since I like an octave here and there.
Seeing as it's a poly octave I'm guessing digital
5. just couldnt resist this after seeing it on the "That Pedal Show" on Youtube! polyphonic octave -1,+1 and +5th should sound pretty big with some drive or fuzz! really looking forward to getting it! http://www.t-rex-effects.com/quint-machine/ Andy
6.
Thanks for the info. Really not keen on the Zoom thing. I tried one of the pedals and I don't really get all the menus and options - too much choice for me. I can see the sense of separate pedals plus it allows me to be a bit of a gear tart too so all good. I was nosying around the COG site and they do look nice but couldn't see a chorus pedal. Not looked at Carl martin until last night but couldn't see which one you might be referring to Skybone? If I went for separates what does the panel think of Boss vs EHX stuff?
Worth giving Tom at cog an email he put a tweaked clone of the brown boss chorus in my custom
7. dnt remember seeing a chorus and fuzz in the same box. i have a custom Cog which has a really nice chorus and of course there tarkin fuzz, so maybe that could be a route to go down. for me i would go down the way of that or seperate pedals that way you get both the fuzz and chorus you want, my choose is the Moog Clusterflux and my fuzz comes from either a fuzzrocious heliotropic or cicada and also cant not help putting the Moog Freqbox in the mix aswell! hope that kinda helps!
8.
That's a fantastic price for one of those. I like that it has a blend for each channel
have to say it sounds great, also is a very sturdy build everything feels solid! and from order to having it in my hand it took 4 days i think, considering thats including building the thing! i think thats great!

10. Needed to fund a boss es8 and it was a pedalikinda knew would sell, olive it and will probs get another Not sure on the fuzz as I haven't played the sfx but that could be similar and you have some control however the octave is a lot less in depth compared to the Aguilar also remember you can't use just the octave down
11. had one for ages. really cool sound great and track well if your clever, plus the sub is huge! and the fuzz is really nice! and the switchable octave up is what makes it super bitey and nasty! its not subtle! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vWQHYgL6tLU
12.
EVERYONE needs a dirt pedal for bass!
or 5.............. to the op, if you want the dirt to not be to fuzzy or fizzy then avoid rat based circuits i love them but at high gain they turn a bit fuzz, obviously i would stay away from fuzz. for a proper thick sound which will just push your bass over the edge theres stuff like the ocd, the fuzzrocious demon is great from low to high gain and doesnt get fizzy it stays for me in my setup just thick drive unless i boost into it! and theres also the boss odb-3 for a really cheap way to go, have it basically 80% clean blend turn the treble down a bit, i used this with my active modulus fb4 for ages into a markbass lm2. and the fb4 being a hotroded ray its similar kinda thing.
13. got to agree, but then again i dropped nearly 400 quid on my Moog Clusterflux! but i wnt say a brand but some of the drive pedals these days are getting very silly!
14.
Afterlife in the house!! Si
nice finish i already miss my gold demon i had! but anyway that reverb is so good!
15. also at that price its in the same kinda range as chase bliss brothers, def not the same kinda sound but with all the midi possibilities and different sound on tap via presets the Brothers looks pricey but kinda worth it, but it does sound very good! andy
16. So have the Hex from Lateral Sound on loan so be wrong not to combine it with my Tremor wouldn't it! https://youtu.be/6E1GcRm1c1o
17.
Prices have gone up by loads due to the pound crash. I got my VMTD for about £220, now they are £260 or more. I bet the Alpha will be £300-£325. If they are, then I won't buy one new.
i get theres r n d and its a new pedal but if its that crazy money.
18. Sounds nice I'm really hoping the pricing isn't silly! It'll be somewhere between the b7 and ultra probs which is to much for a drive but will wait and see. This is just imo tho not having a go at Doug just gutting his stuff is so expensive
19. Love my cb, it's always on actually set to do a parallel comp kinda thing clean cranked and mild comp with a bit of the filter added to beef up the lows a tad. For me I'm sure there is a difference between this and the large models but not enough to concern me as the cb sounds great. Would like to try the dg but not got the funds ATM.
20. can totally see this being my first darkglass pedal!!
21. Lateral sound "Primer" is worth a look if you want something a bit different
22.
Slightly off topic but I've got a question about the Boss ES-8.. how many parallel loops can you have in a single setup?
Haha a tad but it's ok, with the es8 it's two, with the es5 it's one
23. Full length demo of my custom from Lateral It's a crazy pedal and sound just as crazy! https://youtu.be/u_RhFpYP5_c
24.
I'd say that's more like a duck in the middle on an ontological crisis..... But that's still a cool noise.
Haha your probs correct
