1. Ok so first of mods please move this if its in the wrong place! Im looking to start my own custom Pedalboard company, ie you give me all the bits you want on a board or i source them for you, and put together a really nice polished neat board for you. im looking to start soon as so if any of you guys would be interested or know of other band members then please send them over to my new Facebook page. https://www.facebook...BoardSolutions/ its brand new so the page is pretty minimal atm! all boards would be put together using planet waves solderless cable unless you wanted something else, each board would get a custom quote and can be posted or delivered if in a close enough area (Plymouth UK) Andy
2.
Just spotted the Truetone C12
thats a nice looking supply but unless you need the ac and 18v outlets there wasted points plus ive read somewhere that you can over power outlets but that involves maths and i couldnt be bothered to keep adding stuff up everytime i add new pedals! Andy
3. if you pedals can work well with daisy chaining you could grab a strymon Ojai, 5x500ma isolated points, or you could go with a gigrig system depending on power needs for a little bit more than the dc10.
4. Playing at Ilfracombe rocks tomoz if anyone is around andy
5. Surprise surprise I have another Fuzzrocious pedal on the way, was thinking of adding a strymon blue sky for reverb aswell as the timeline but not using the timeline enough so that went now waiting for a Fuzzrocious afterlife reverb and anomalies delay in one box, so a dirty Lofi delay into a really nice verb after some fuzz hoping it should sound pretty big!
6. es-8 is on the board a few changes thanks to a few new things turning up.

Boss ES-5

so just based on setting up some simple patches actually not the most horrid interface, not got into the midi side yet going to leave that till after my gig at the weekend! mainly as my clusterflux isnt as easy as strymons to program. 8.
I thought this had a clean blend too?! Or is that someone else's Heliotropic?! Si
it was going to but got missed out, actually not even a slight problemas for me it sits in the mix really well when with the band! also should point out ryan was a legend and offered to have the pedal shipped back to the states to do the work and when i was happy and has minus the clean blend of my latest custom purchase, brilliant customer service and has made sure i was happy with the pedal ive got!

10. So I recently got a custom Heliotropic from Ryan at Fuzzrocious, it's got an added gate and dirty octave up enjoy http://youtu.be/uho5vL9kTYM
11.
Well here are the Andertons team demo'ing this and the Boss and EH pedals.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qPyYTjMRkTs Tough to hear the difference although they come out in favour of the transparent Cali. Is the Spectracomp a rival? What would tone prints do for compression?
Compression always hard, tbh I wouldn't call the Cali transparent at all! Would like to try a few of the high end comps buts hard thing to get hold of the tc Dunlop stuff for demos
12. its here! already watched alot of video so my head hurts a bit but should be a very cool piece of gear! also managed to grab myself a few Fuzzrocious pedals yesterday! got a custom Afterlife/Anomalies in one box for my reverb/delay needs and also got one of the first 20 Moths, which is similar to the cicada but it more of an overdrive than a fuzz although it can totally do that!
13.
it may be just me but I find youtube videos of gear a bit of a waste of time, what they sound like on youtube and what they sound like live with you playing are 2 completely different things, just my opinion, no offence intended
None taken I just feel they give at least some reference
14.
This. Nothing worse than a pedal review consiating of 4 minutes of talking then 8 minutes of slap bass.
Yeh for videos where it works I use a ditto to loop a line, only for octaves and filters I find it better without the looper. Just got an es8 lots of videos already out there would you like to see anything from it?
15. open to trades
16. ok so ive got my es-8 now so open to trades andy
17. Never got to go in any music store when i went last year, however for randomly cool music stuff the hard rock cafe in time square is cool, and be sure to checkout some of the bars, i managed to catch one of my favourite bands "You Bred Raptors?" playing in a awesome place called the Manderley Bar, in an old hotel called the Mckittrick hotel which is now used as a setting for a play called speak no more which is based on Macbeth.....didnt see the play but found an awesome little venue!
18. just ordered a boss es-8.........cant actually wait!

20.
I always find the most interesting part of pedals is how they interact with other pedals. How about doing demos showing how different pedals react to each other. Not necessarily 'take 2 pedals and show how they sound together' and more 'how will adding this pedal affect the rest of my board' especially at different settings, and in different positions.
This a great idea! I'm happy with how I do my demos looking for ideas for more content that is still pedal based but not demos, so that idea is great
21. Now I know this is in the effects forum but I'm asking questions on effects I'm looking to add something to my YouTube channel that will bring something different to it, rather than simple effects demos Is there anything you guys would like to see? I want to keep doing the demos but add another weekly piece of content?
22. Reworked my board, did a video sound clips at the end http://youtu.be/2bDisxAxc0w
23. Not cheap but my Moog clusterflux is great and very present in the mix
