1.
Wow.... If I had gills, I would be green around them...
thanks man, im really happy with my current crop, did actually think i had more........there are a few more incoming also in other news i recieved a strymon Ojai power supply today so am looking to get that on my board soon to help with having more isolated supplies with high Ma ratings, and am actually starting to think of grabbing a Zuma to power the main board when its realised. Andy
 2.
Fair enough, only reason I said it was because I saw a guy said this on talkbass: "When i used to work at GC, Jeorge Tripps stopped in to check up on the Way Huge stock. he told me that, with the exception of the Fat Sandwich, they all sound great on bass, because they don't cut out any frequencies. the Fat Sandwich was designed specifically for guitar. which isn't to say it can't sound good on bass... you just won't get any low end info coming through." Seems like your experiences find otherwise though
theres a bit of low end loss but not to the level of theres none. again tho its totally rig depended, if i was playing a smaller rig i might agree to the massive low end cut. andy
 3.
This was specifically designed for guitar wasn't it? The distortion sounds awesome, the low end loss would be too much for me though.
Not sure tbh, sounds great in a mix, my band are doing lifer by down as a cover and it really fits in well, with the all the eq ie hi cut, lo and hi you actually have alot of low end (atleast thru my 810) and with the hi cranked to about 3 o clock you have the bite. Andy
 4. http://youtu.be/O0ZvA93wIfQ Demi's now live
 5. Selling this due to not really needing it atm, was bought to demo for my youtube rather than go into my rig £80 posted to your door andy
 6. so recorded a load of demos yesterday, so expect them soon. have to say the Mantic is much smoother than the meatbox, big lows still like the meatbox but for me its not as dirty.
 7. Just a shot of all the pedals I have, actually getting a second board going so I can switch thing up and use more of my pedals if I feel like it
 8. Recorded a lot of demos today so expect all of these to be up soon
 9. All my space problems for fun pedals are now solved! sadly i no longer have a solid gold formula 76! however i do now have another pedaltrain pro board! and it has the roller case which is awesome!
 10. I've actually got into using blends to just blend two dirty signals together. However for ultimate custom fuzz......Id actually make sure the fuzz has a lot of lows so, but also if needed a mids control. Similar to a Fuzzrocious grey stache. Then I'd actually add in an octave up similar to the eqd tentacle dirty and on a blend so j can have s little or a lot and it's on top of the original signal. Also I'd throw a controllable gate on there aswell! Andy
 11.
What's the free candy based on Andy? Any idea?
its a modified meathead clone, its pretty huge sounding!
A question for you Andy - how does the Meatbox/Mantic compare to the COG with the filter knob cranked? I always thought the COG was pure sub bass set like this and probably not far off a Meatbox (which I've never tried), except the Meatbox has additional boost/EQ (which you could apply at the desk if using the COG). there is alot of lows in the Cog but the meatbox and density hulk have alot more, the cog is a very thick octave down with the filter cranked, but its not putting out the 20hz or whatever stupid blow your speakers up lows, and thats not being unfair to the Cog. have you looked at my demos of the t70 and meatbox? the difference is clear there, not sure you could make up the difference in the pa.

Sounds like this pedal was made for you - Freak Andy sounds like a good name for a band or solo project!
haha hadnt thought of that, its right up my street! very dirty yet it keeps enough low end to keep me happy!
 12.
Big lover of this pedal, really versatile, for the first few months I set everything flat and just adjusted the bias knob between Lo-fi dirt and fatness, this and the Tafm cured my GAS (hopefully) for a long time, always getting great comments about my tone from sound men!
its comments like that that make my bank balance scared!
 13. yeh what lozz said, and also just to add it puts out a 1000w at both 8 and 4, also that thing is a beast of an amp! loved mine! Andy
 14. after playing it this weekend the dod bifet booster is a great light od, but i always seem to go back my Cat tail or Kaeden drive from Fuzzrocious from my drive.
 15. it changed again but the Dod and way huge were to good to be left of! still wanna try and get the dod bifet 410 on the board aswell! andy
 16.
Yeah I still use my old bi-fet every now and then to add some phatness! Shame about the low end loss though, they need to reissue the FX-25b without the Vol dip. Si
yeh i might try and find one, the low end loss really isnt savage and im guessing as i play in drop c that the loss for me would be more noticeable! andy
 17.
Nice to know,i always take the "loss of lows" with a pinch of salt because of style/playing variables .it was from JohnK on talkbass ( pedal builder fanatic)
Yeh also I have to take into account my rig aswell being ashdown it does have more lows than some
 18.
Interested what the 440 is like. Wish they'd re-issue the bass envelope filter. The mix control made that filter for me, but the volume drop made it unuseable live Si
so theres a bit of low end loss in the 440, but its really not that bad, the filter tho is great i have it before the Feed me so its getting a low end bump from that, but im actually thinking of putting the bifet after it to boost the lows a bit more, that bifet is a really cool take on a boost! the tone has a bit throw so can really help shape the sound. and the phasor does what phasers do and does it well! really happy Andy
 19. Ok so im not really sure where the low end loss thing comes from, yes compared to the swollen pickle there are less lows but there are still more than enough! demo will be coming so people can make up there mind Andy
 20. ill report back tomorrow andy
 21.
Work in progress... Just got the Cioks DC5 mounted under a Pedaltrain Metro 24. I have a Pedaltrain PB1 wedge shaped pedal riser incoming to go under the expression pedal to reduce foot strain in the heel down position, then have to connect everything up! Bass will go straight into the Octabvre followed by the Manta - I want the expression pedal at the end with the Manta next to it, so this should work quite nicely. The Thumpinator and Diamond both alter the tone of the Octabvre if placed before it, so they are placed later in the chain.
nice man very nice. Andy
 22. So im having quiet the splurge atm! grabbed one of these and actually didnt realise they had started doing them in black! cant wait to try it tomorrow at practice!
