i think the filters are awesome on the mb heads, i pretty much add a little bass but everything else is flat(12'o'clock) then i kinda shape the sound a bit with the filters. ive only sold mine as i was violently hit by gas the other night and have got another head on the way. but i do love the sound of markbass, when i had my 610hlf it ruled! i still dnt see the need for an 800w version as i never had to push it! ever! its never been passed half! andy

hi guys! due to a late night gas session ive got a new amp on the way and im looking into grabbing a cab to go with it! im selling both my existing cabs and im thinking of hunting down a 410 swr cab, im guessing that a 410 golight cab is probs out of my reach! what do they normally go for? also does anyone have any views on these cabs? or have one near me that i can come and try once ive got my new amp. im hoping to get about 350/400 for my cabs does that seem a reasonable budget to be able to grab what im after? andy

well this combo will hopefully be a longterm stop gap. i really wanna get a barefaced big baby! as in my bands im all about the lows hence why im going down the 215 route, was considering a dubster but its been a pain trying to save up and theres no way anyone is gonna trade my 2103x and lmt500 for one. but im really looking forward to trying out a nice 215 rig, even if it looks like its gonna take a while as no one seems to be interested in my stuff. andy

Yeh sounds about right just need on of these combos to come up for trade now! Oh and for them to want my amp! Andy

[/quote] Yeh i like the head, id keep it as a backup but need to sell to get the combo, Yeh im looking to get a 215 stack in the end, with atleast 500w of power. The weight isnt a massive problem due to having a van and also ill grab a trolley jack to make moving it even easier

What makes it pain? The shear weight ? I realise a 115 combo wnt be light unless i blag a silly cheap jeff berlin mb but doubt that will suit tonewise with my bands! Andy

ive gone a different way due to some gas now, thank sfor all the posts and advice mods can remove if you want

[/quote] yeh ive tried one at a practice studio but it was a 210, it was vey quiet so im guess it was one of the 250w versions. im looking into getting one to put atop of my 1153 cab to have a 215 stack but be much more easy to move around but looking at it all the 500w 115 ashdown combos seem to be being disconntinued? andy

what do you guys think of there 115 combos seems to be quiet a few out there? any favs? andy

I def find that my lmt500 is much warmer than my old lm2 but with the changeable pre amp it can obviously go nice and clean This is my second really happy only selling mine at min as i need smaller foot print. Andy
