never had this with my db750 could it be to do with a bad earth supply to the head? def shouldnt hiss tho mate. andy

when ive missed a lesson or had to cancel one, unless its a fair way before say 9 in the morning i cancel a lesson at 8pm the same day my teacher wnt charge but if its an hour before i have to pay for the lesson which i throughly expect! charge him he'll either leave or start getting better. andy

not played the fafner but if i were you id atleast give the aggie a go! there awesome amps really loud and well made, for me when i tested my old db750 againet the svt cl the cl just couldnt keep up! plus it weighs alot more the the db heads! also just to throw a curveball have you considered the ag500? very nice head if you dnt need the dual channels they do the ag500sc very nice loud head depending on what you plug into should be more than enough power? and saves the old back? andy

I personally wouldnt use a cab if i didnt know its rating to much of a risk for me. Andy
