  1. Not to stop ppl discussing this further but whats all the fuss? If you want to mismatch whats it matter. Also arent ppl who put a compact and a midget mismatching? I know its not only about size after reading through a few threads on this but if having a mismatched rig works for you then i dnt see the big fuss Andy (im prepared to get slated for this comment btw)
  2. i used to have the pro-6 and there was no way that it had 1100w at 4 ohms so im guessing the 8 wnt have 2500. on the flip side, never had a prob with the sound so i'd imagine it will sound awesome, but if the power input is the same as the 6 id be wary as my 6 did used to trip the mains in nearly every pub my old band used to play! was very annoying. andy
  3. in that price range id look at markbass, there eq is really good and also you've got the filters which can change the sound of the amp alot. plus they aren't lacking in power at 8 ohms if your using a single cab, also ill also put forward the headlite a very nice really light amp with a really adjustable eq, and the aural enhancer which i actually like(i know some ppl dnt) andy
  4. cool glad i got it right, not that im concerned about mixing cabs just wanted to make sure my thinking was correct. andy
  5. i think the only way you'd cause damage by doing this would be by taking 2 cabs of different rating and putting them together with a high output amp, is this a valid reason for not mixing the cabs? ie lets say a 200w ampeg 115 and a 410hlf which goes to 500w with an svt pro-6 1100w at 4 ohms, you might not notice the 115 farting due to the volume of the 410? as it would easily take the 550w being put to it? so a newbie to this setup could through inexperiance blow there 15? i put my 112 hartke with my 1153 trace cab but as there both 300w and my headlite is only 400w, i dnt worry about pushing the cabs but it sounds good so i dnt worry to much about mixing them. is my logic right?
  6. yeh getting the 8 ohm cab means you can add a second cab later. im sure lozz will be along soon, but i wouldnt worry markbass heads are loud so 300w in to a 410 you'll have a nice loud rig! as i said im sure lozz will be along soon hes pretty much got the same rig apart from the head hes got the lm tube. andy
  7. just wondering if anyone has a dubster i could try out there?
  8. a 600w 112!? they look really nice! shame on the price but id like to try one. andy

  13. The hartke is an awesome little cab, i use it on 4 ohms on its own just to get the full power from my amp but like the guys have said there no really volume increase. But they are super light ill def grab another when i can. Its the only cab ive seen with an impedance swtich Andy
  14. Get some cardboard and bubblewrap and do the best u can. Andy
  15. nice mate
  16. dnt some of these cabs have lights in them to show your pushing them a bit hard? im pretty sure my 610hlf did? never saw them tho? andy
  17. Tried this the otherday, sounded nice! Alot of deep lows coming from the 15 and some nice throaty attack from the 12. Sadly means i may have to add a hartke 15 to my set up one ive got another 112

  21. No mistake bud if you like it?! The overdrive is really nice' as is the compressor as it effects the lows and highs seperately! I tried one in mansons yesterday through a beastly trace cab which had 210's and a 15 in the same box. Nice head mate go for it! Plus i forgot the green lights!!! Andy
