3. That chorus looks awesome!! Add that to a the bass fuzz and a carbon copy gas! Bugger!! Andy
 4.
No worries, you're welcome! Hehe, I can always bring the van plenty of room!
:-)
 5.
I'm happy to bring some pedals if you like... I could divert through Salisbury if you like, I'm not too far north of you - pm me if you're likely to go and need a lift and we can sort out the details.
Be awesome if you could as theres about 4 pedals there id like to try! Andy
 6.
It is quite epically small,....(ooh err) Was thinking of getting a BF super 12 and was looking for a suitably small (in size) head to drive it. Was thinking either headlite or maybe an EA micro?? Just need to sell the current gear to raise some funds now. Hope you sort out the poweramp.
I can only say good things about the headlite, depending where you are feel free to through me a pm to come and try it?
 7.
At least Black Tongue is one of the simpler ones!
Thats true! Maybe will work it out! Like i said all the tabs seem to be wrong! Right notes but wrong place so they dnt sound quite right. When ive got funds ill buy the cts tab book sod working that out!!!!!
 8.
yeah why dont you just take your head round with you? seems the easiest solution
True, the comp can wait
 9.
I get it now, Just read a review and that is the way the writer described the setup, definitely not too clear from their description.
Its a bit confusing from reading but i got the head cos of a few videos so i realised what the set up should be. I still have a laugh at how small the head is! So maybe using it as a pre on some gigs will be ok. Andy
 10. Thing is there was no marking and it was a jack only cab conection, i think if im in doubt ill always bring my head and enough leads to either plug into the cab if its a wel marked cab, or ill bring enough jack to jacks to hook up my heads pre to the current amps power amp
 11.
I've used my Markbass F1 through a Barefaced Super 12 T when tuned down to A and it was monstrous!
Gonna hopefully try out a s15 and a few other barefaced cabs soon but alas i can't afford any of them but will be usefull for when i can. Unless really weirdly someone wants to trade theres for my cabs? ;-) of which there more chance of me winning the lottery!!
 12.
Id be looking at secondhand Trace Elliot rigs. The 300 watt 1x15 combos are usually easy to find and should be within your budget. Another option would be the Ashdown mag range of combos.
These amps are going for almost nothing at the min, seen a 715x go for 250 quid and it was pretty much brand new!!!! There over a grand new!! And if you can find a 1215 you are laughing! Imbuilt overdrive/ dist, multi band compression and a 12 band graphic eq all foot swtichable!! I think theres on in the for sale forum at the mo Andy
 13. For home use id grab either a nice markbass combo or a ampeg micro vr stack, both are awesome sounding and can be gigged if you joined a band? Andy
 14. I think they got seymour duncan to make a copy, thats whats in mine, its a basslines pickup. But yours looks like all the pics ive ever seen of a lane pickup bub. Andy
 15. So anyone know any bass friendly 2 knob comps? Andy
 16. Yeh the way the describe it is a bit confusing, but is ment so you have them driving sep cabs, each one driving a 4 ohm golight cab is the way they intend you to do it i think. And that power will be way to expensive, probs look at a behringer rack mount amp
 17. Although it does have old stings and is in d standard so not a normal sounding modulus. Andy
 18.
Up to you really. It can be quite interesting to see what will be on display. These events can be a useful place to bring stuff you're looking to sell too, as people have the chance to try it out, negotiate face to face, and take it away. So bring your cash too folks, you could go home with more than you came with, (best bring some "smuggling/cloaking devices" with you for unloading the other end).
Haha oh so true! Well im hoping they be a few pedalboards with some fun stuff on? Ill bring my headlite, hartke 112 and 1153 trace cab. As i doubt either of the cabs will have sold by then. Also ill bring my modulus so if ppl fancy giving it a spin they can. Andy
 19. I only know coz ive been there bud
 20. Glad you got it working dude Andy
 21. Is it worth if ppl are bringing stuff to say what there bringing or not?
 22.
Standard tuning, low b to g, nothing weird at all, preamp generally flat or slightly bumped mids...
nothing wrong there then, ive only tried the octave on a standard tuned four string, so not sure how it handles the low b. is strange how for it to sound ok you need to have extreme settings on it tho!? as ive said before have you tried it of the board? andy
 23.
So...I've reordered the chain to be: Tuner>OctaMizer>tlc>sft>ppb>bmc>unichorus Which sounds way better to me. ...I've found and replaced a very dodgy georgeL (with a cheap thing that'll do for now) interconnect which cured most of the dreadful noises ...and following that I have to have the OctaMizer's octave filter hard left to avoid farty noises if I play hard Am not entirely set on this order as I can't use the OctaMizer and ppb at the same time cos the ppb doesn't like the octaved signal and goes into mega mush... ...more tinkering required...and some new georgeL cable too
do you play in a weird tuning? or a drop tuning can't, has the new order made the tlc behave? andy
 24.
Corrected I stand......
sorry if i sounded harsh bud andy
