2. How many BCers have owned his bass?
3. i thought you loved this thing? I'd have loved it if it was a 4 string For anyone interested, these things sound the dogs danglies
4. FYI if you do want a nice bass, deaver is selling an ibanez SR900 in trans black with neck thru, barts and 3 band EQ on here for £315 + postage.
5. Mmm very nice collection, i love the SS1's, and that status is very very nice, i really wanted that one

8.
Right that's it. I'm off to crack one out.
Tea >>>>>> screen Is what i would have said if i had a cup of tea!
9. Fair play, you don't need much more than that markbass!
10. Haha yeah i suppose so! And what modelling programs are you using? guitar rig? I got some really nice sounds out of that from the demo i have.
11. Fair play, if if works for you. Personally i'd have done it the other way around, but i suppose if you actually want to move some air with the guitar or bass i'm assuming that if the drum room is large enough for a drum kit, there would be easily enough room for a guitarist or bassist if you wanted to record all the parts seperately.
12.
In all fairness, it is exclusively available from this vendor, so he apparently owns the only 93/94 MIM Jazz on the planet. Which is nice. And the BIN has dropped to £550. I wonder if he's a BassChatter and he's reading this thread ...
If he IS watching this thread, that bass is only worth £250 MAX. It's 14 years old and it's mexican... who cares? 14 years REALLY doesn't qualify as vintage!
13. If i were you, i'd have made the drum/vocal booth the mixing room and the bigger room just a live room. That way if you need to record several instruments in one take, you can listen to them through the monitors to make sure they're coming through ok and hear the take properly without getting any feedback or anything.
14. lol! Vintage!!??
15. Wow, steep! Though not so bad if it does what you want it to And don't forget to alarm/insure it all!!
16. Aren't they about £600 new?
17. Oooh that dean is pretty, nice one! Also i know how you feel My budget for my last bass was £200ish (squier VMJ), i then went and spent £350 on a G&L instead!
18.
Unfortunately he won't get huge fees unless you complete the sale! Now that would be dedication to the cause.
You can always prevent him selling it anyway by just putting on a max bid of say 10k or something stupid, and just don't complete the transaction. I'm sure there's more people on here than there are amounts of times he'd list it before gets fed up
19. I should hope not with that beauty around your neck!
20. Not by the looks of it
21. Sorry, am i the only one wondering why everything in the first post has been edited out?
22. +1, i love honey burst rays
23.
I'm very up on the old stingray guys - already got a couple. I never really looked carefully at the pix, except I realised it was a pre ernie ball, so I put a £400 bid never expecting to win anyway., It wasn't due to finish for a couple of days, so you can imagine my surprise when I just found it ended early in my favour. accompanied with about half a dozen emails from you guys warning me not to buy. Cheers Merry Xmas I'll tell where to stick the fake piece of sh!!t Thanks again!! Shonks.......X
Ah fair enough! Well i hope you stick around and grace us with some photos of your collection maybe?
24.
I just won this thing on ebay for £381.99 and now i think it's a fake - its a pre Ernie Ball logo - but the brigde is post ernie ball - the pup is definately wrong!! I've just contacted the seller to confirm the bass is genuine - and i want some better pix before I part with any cash!! I also asked for the serial number...lets see what happens!!.?? Shonks
Hi mate, glad you came here, i'm the guy that sent you the link. The bridge is definitely not ernie ball at all. Here's a better look at one of those bridges, that's what's on that fake you bidded on. here's a pre EB bridge Here's a newer bridge, as you can see, not the same, the first is the type they will use on cheap copies, jay turser, OLP etc
25. i think we already have one by the looks of it!
