    It would seem a transfer is far better. I believe there is very little anyone can do with your details. At least you know you have the money and it cannot (as far as I am aware) be clawed back. I now ask folk to arrange their own courier too if they do not want to pick up in person. I know it puts some folk off but it seems to me that it's a far better option all round.

    I honestly cannot understand why they found in favour of the buyer in my case. I'm still a little dumbfounded over it. I know it got to the address, the courier knows it got there too. It was tracked and I was given an update when it was delivered. A signature was taken, I had a digital copy of it which I supplied in evidence. When they said I had to prove that it was signed for by the true buyer, I knew that was the end of it.. What else can anyone do to prove it was delivered? No more PayPal for me. I cancelled my account (which incidentally took ages to do as it said I had transactions pending, which I did not).

    Unfortunately, I had proof of delivery but it didn't help in my case. I was asked to prove that the person who signed for it at that address was the true buyer? An absolutely impossible task.

    Indeed it was. Sent tracked and signed for. Evidence of a signature from that address too. PayPal said that I could not prove that the person who signed for it at that address was the same person who bought it. I got truly screwed that day.

    I've given up on brand names. If it sounds good to me that's good enough! I once did a gig with a Behringer in house combo. It sounded like thunder. I seriously doubt that my then current rig could have beat it. That was a grand v 100 quid secondhand. Big money might make you sound ok but good technique will make you shine. 😀

    In my case, it gave me no protection. Have a quick search on Google. It's a common scam.

    Don't get paid by PayPal! All he needs to do is say he hasn't received the bass and they will refund his money. It's happened to me before and PayPal paid the buyer out despite having proof of delivery to the right address. You will not be able to claim on any insurance either as of course a delivery company will have proof of delivery. Be very careful.

    Sold an FR800 to AJ. A really easy transaction with good communications. Always good to meet a BC'er face to face too. He's a nice bloke whom I wouldn't hesitate to deal with again. Thanks again AJ. Cheers Dunc

    May px trade. Decided to go back to a stack and keep well away from being the PA guy. Will trade - Orange, Ampeg cabs and heads. Try me with anything though. You never know. As above. In tip top condition. Around 2 years old and only used lightly around 12 times. I'm sure it needs no introductions on here. I believe they are now discontinued. So, will become a rare commodity. I won't shift on the price. Great as FRFR's and also PA cabs, monitors etc. Truly versatile cabs. Willing to post (as I have the original packaging) at buyers cost and risk or meet up within reason. I'd rather it was picked up from my home though so the buyer is 100% satisfied with it. Cash, bank transfer but no PayPal please.

    A mate of mine uses one of these. He is quite an accomplished sound engineer and producer. The Uni where he works bought quite a few and sold some off about 12 months ago, he bought one of them as he really rates them. He is now playing in a reformed 80's band and uses it as his 1st choice. I'll have a play on his and may well get back to you.

    I'm always confused nowadays. I honestly can't believe this is still here at such a low price? If someone only needs one cab, it's worth buying the lot. A cab and a backup rig for £250! It's outrageous! I don't have the money at the moment but if I had, all of it would be coming to live with me. In secret of course, as the Mrs would punish me badly! 😂😂😂😂
