Here y'all go: Babylon's Burning
3. Is that a Boss VF-1 on top of your amp? I used to lust after one of those!
4. I use whichever bass seems right or sounds the best for the track, and adjust the passive tone control to suit. I'm currently enjoying the sounds I get plugging straight into my interface with no amp, simulated or otherwise.
5. Just out of curiosity, where do you rest your thumb when playing the B string? Against the body, or on hardware e.g. pickup?
6. I'd be interested in trying out the Elf head, especially if it didn't sound like the old TE stuff! If it's not too dear it would be good gig-bag spare amp, in the way that the MB200 is.

I have done a transcription in music notation if that's any use to you.
8. The Roland EV5 is a popular choice for adding an expression pedal to a synth, multi-fx unit, or echo or modulation pedal. It includes a recessed side-mounted control for setting the minimum value of the sweep for whatever parameter you are controlling. I have replaced the original 2m cable and moulded plug with a longer cable (nearly 3m) with a metal jack. Complete with original box. £35 delivered in the UK.
9. The start of that 'H' looks familiar:
10.
FWIW in my experience the guitar Pod 2.0 (Red) is more useful on Bass than the Bass Pod (Dark Grey). I've had two of the Bass Pods and sold both on. Found they didn't give me anything I preferred to what I can get on Sansamp BDDI / Behringer BDI21 and the effects aren't special. Have kept POD 2.0.Good for both guitar and bass although some of the higher gain settings have a degree of 'fizz'. @ £60 with the stand sounds a good deal.
Thanks, just need a buyer now
11. All the bits have been used up making bitsa basses, and the universe now contains as many bitsa basses as it can hold without collapsing and becoming a supermassive black hole.
12. Pete bought an fx unit, paid swiftly and responded promptly in all comms. No problems here
13. MXR Phase 95 - choose between Phase 90 and more subtle Phase 45 sounds, tiny pedal board footprint, and the 9V socket is on the top, not the side. Also has Script button for further variation. EDIT - corrected to say Phase 45!
