  1. Wouldn't worry me too much as I could always pull it out, plug it and fit a schaller one. It would affect the price I was willing to pay though
  2. The files should be xml format, but with an extension of *.b3p for an individual patch or *.b3a for an entire patch group. Other than that, the process is pretty straightforward - If you've not already connected your B3 to the computer you may need to add it to the displayed devices list - Display menu at the top, then Show Devices, then B3 if it's not already ticked. Make sure the B3 tab (immediately above the Editor) is highlighted if you have more than one device type showing Create yourself a new blank patch group - right click on PC in the Library and then click New Patch Group. Give it a name, and then make sure that patch group is selected. Right click on one of the empty patches in the big A0-J9 list and click Import. Things might be slightly different on the Mac version of Edit & Share, but hopefully similar enough that you'll be able to work it out from that....

[/quote] I find the same with my EBMM SUBs and Stingray... the slabby SUBs are fine, but the contoured Stingray is noticeably more comfortable to wear on a strap. The SUB reclaims some points when seated - but I think that's probably more due to extra grip on the leg from the textured matte paint than anything shape related...
  7. I don't know about the Philips one, but I got a Sonos Play:1 for similar money (£150ish) and get plenty of use out of it. DAB signal is patchy at ours so station choice is very limited. With the Sonos I can have my alarm clock set to play ABC Disco/Funk All my music media library is stored on a network attached hard drive so I can listen to whatever I like wherever, without having to leave the PC on. Surprisingly decent sound & volume for such a dinky box. It's all controlled from PC/phone/tablet so it doesn't need to be placed anywhere particularly easy to get to - which given how cluttered my place is, is a big benefit!
  8. What about getting a stingray shaped body made up to take the Bongo neck and electrics? Should be relatively inexpensive as you've already got the expensive and/or time consuming bits already - and then if it doesn't work out you could put it back to standard to sell?

Partly so I could use them as a stereo pair of PA cabs if need be (I've top hats for pole mounts in mine) But mostly - yeah, it's so I've got the right ratio of screen to speakers for my telly. I guess the 4x TKS 12 would have a big advantage in terms of sensitivity though, so could be better suited if a bigger amp wasn't an option. That said - in the unlikely event I ever needed more volume out of my rig (GK MB500 + 2x Big Baby 2) I'd much prefer to upgrade the amp to an MB800 than to have to carry 4 cabs around instead!

  22. Might also be worth considering a Sterling by Musicman Ray34CA - they have the jazz width nut like the SLO necks as well as the 2 band EQ.

[/quote] The B1Xon can use 5 effects simultaneously and also has a looper and drum machine... I think it had an upgraded processor over the B3. you'd think they could do a B3.1 or even a B3.1X with the processor from the B1Xon . I never understood why they didn't enable Edit'n'Share on the MS60B or the B1Xon.... it would have been really useful on the smaller format units.
