2. A custom dingwall would be high on my list. Though Jon Shuker is doing some work on a bass for me at the moment so I will wait to see his work. A bass I would love is a Warwick P-Nut II but with some chambers in the body to just take the edge off of the weight. Though that might make it a bit neck heavy, hmmm.

6. Perfect number of strings, way out of my price ranage right now though. Urgh.
7. Just traded my Streamer with Sveinn for his FNA Jazzman. Transaction could not have been smoother. Sveinn even sent me his bass first with me to send second. Great guy to deal with and would happily have dealings with him again.
8. My heart tells me I need this. My head tells me I know I don't get on well with 4 string basses. Urgh.
9. I will not be doing the work myself. Recently used John Shuker for a fret dress and he would be my first point of contact for this work. I just wanted to know if it is feasible, not seen one so wanted to know the overall opinion was.
10. So, I have just received a second Warwick FNA Jazzman in a trade. I was hoping to get a fretless as a trade but that didn't happen so I am left with a fretted bass that I either need to sell to raise funds or I am considering defretting. So my question is. Will a wenge fretboard work for a fretless? Anyone played one? I know that when Warwick offered this bass as a fretless option they changed it to an ebony board so that might be the plan but just wanted to see what people suggest.
11. If you can just do a quick demo it would probably help sway me.
12. Very tempted by this. Any recordings or sound samples?
13. Apologies if this takes us off topic but wanted to check, if I am running this through a 4ohm 6x10. I will only be able to run a single channel into it at 500w? I would not be able to run it in bridged mode?
14. Couple of lovely trade offers have come my way but still holding out for a fretless for another couple of days. Get the offers in quick guys and gals. Can get some additional photos of any parts if required.
15. Will also take trade offers for fretted instruments, Marcus Miller and Thunderbirds being high on the list. Or a nice new amp, feel like a change from the ABM.
16. Wow, page 5 already. Can you please just calm down on here please. People are trying to sell stuff.
17.
Bastard, if this was a four string id be humping leg right now!!!!
Can be supplied less a string of your choice for a nominal fee.
18. I cannot seem to get my head around embedding videos tonight. So here is a link to a little sound sample. Apologies for the distortion/tremolo the mic added and the lazy playing. https://youtu.be/9tVev53rLbE
19. Picked this up recently in a trade for my P-Nut that I had for sale. Also got it listed on the Warwick Forum. Lovely bass but I already have another couple of fretted 5 stringers and I really really want a fretless so it is the one that has to go cause my vette will be with me for life. So we have a 1991 Warwick Streamer Stage II NT 5 string bass. Its a great bass and only parting with it as it is currently surplus to requirements. Pickups are not stock and have been replaced by a previous owner with bartolinis, preamp has also been swapped to a bartolini. Original electronics will be supplied with the bass but I have been informed that they were faulty when taken out so might well need some tinkering. Sounds is lovely. All controls flat it is a nice jazz type clear tone. Boost the bass and the treble a tad and you get a much more traditional Wariwck growl. Overall a great bass. Very little wear, a few very small dints near the jack but other wise in great condition. Recently had a fret dress and set up by the brilliant John Shuker. Trade wise I want a fretless first and foremost. Ideally 5 strings and a warwick but open to fenders and the way through to zons. Hit me with what you have. I think this is a fair price for great warwick bass so please only sensible offers.
20. duplicate post. appologies.
21.
These are plenty loud. I gig mine in a noisy garage type band with 2 marshalled-up guitars and a loud drummer. I wouldn't be able to totally drown everyone out - but it sits high enough in the mix with a nice bit of snarl from the power section. Sounds ace. No probs so far
How would you say it compares volume-wise to the ABM500? This is my current amp and would need to it to be as loud.
22. Hmm, this would look quite good on top of my 610. Haha.
