  1. I don’t have one of these anymore but I’m curious… could the dry signal alone be used as a booster? Would be interested to know if it can be used either as intended (as a great filter) or when the gig requires it could it just be a level / gain booster?? I guess what it comes down to is, is the dry-only pot capable of adding a few db ? cheers, Doug
  2. Hi @Nosupervision, From memory you’ll need to download three things: 1. the V2 firmware for the G3n 2. the editor software 3. the zoom effect blocks. once you have them, make sure your unit has the v2 firmware. Then open the software editor on a windows PC. What it does is allow you to create a customised version of V2 firmware in which you can delete unwanted effects and add other ones (including bass ones) . Once you are happy with your custom list of fx you save it as a new file and then use the firmware update process to load it onto your machine as a custom version of the firmware. This is what I did, happy to give you more detail if you want but please proceed with caution and of course if you’re not comfortable with doing this probably leave it to someone familiar with computers! I am not a computer genius by any stretch but it worked for me… but of course I can offer you no guarantees, just sharing my experience

  7. hi mate, I'm hoping to shift it in the pre-xmas period and to be honest (after thinking about it today) wouldn't want to take it off sale too long as once that window closes it gets harder to sell stuff. ... let me know how you get on with your sales. Trades?? could be interested in pedals so try me, via pm??
  8. It’s on the bay as well… let me know if u want me to take it off and hold it for u mate.

  10. Think I read that the inverse scoop of our ears sensitivity to sound (google ‘Fletcher Munson curve’) changes as sound gets louder. It gets flatter, which means that we tend to like a scooped Eq at low volume but need it flatter at high volume to achieve the same perceived sound. There’s more to it than that, in terms of a band mix etc, but in terms of a soloed bass track this does make sense of why we like scoop in the house, flat on stage.
  11. In reference to this whole jaw-dropping thread, simply… 😮
  12. Cheers @Quatschmacher. To be honest the photos make look darker than it is, it’s really mid-purple with loads of sparkle. Nice if you’re into funky looking filters
  13. Great filter, one of the very purple sparkly ones (some are darker in colour, paint job wise). there is a tiny bit of rust on a couple of the knob bases, as shown in the picture but works perfectly. £100 including GB postage.
  14. Thank goodness for that… I fear couldn’t have held out much longer 🤣
  15. This sounds like a daft question but are you sure you’re turning the speaker sim on, not off?? That sounds a lot like dirt hitting a tweeter, which the speaker sim should be preventing.
  16. Always been curious about these. Is there a good oc2 octave one for the sub n up??
  17. This’ll be great. If you like these you’ll love the Ashdown ABM neo combos, which were very similar but quite a lot lighter.
