  1. Great little portable amp with a ton of power (500watt) and handy features, including: - tube preamp - compressor - tilt Eq and regular eq - USB audio interface with wet and dry / reamping - footswitch able chorus and octave - aux in and phones out for silent practice Available for collection or can be posted. £250 plus any shipping costs £300 including a 4way footswitch
  2. Matching pair of RS210 cabs here. Very light use, clean condition other than a few small marks. One of them in a protective cover. available for collection or I can deliver locally. £225 each or £400 for the pair. Pics coming ASAP.
  3. The easiest thing for Zoom to do would be to do what they’ve now done with the G11 and just make all the bass effects available for this… no need for a new product just an update. That would do it for me anyway.
  4. Yeah, same idea and probably same sounds but ‘more’ in most regards. I can see people still preferring the G1 in some ways but it looks like a welcome middle ground between the G1 and G6. A B2 four would be great.
  5. Zoom have launched the G2 four, and G2 Four X. Looks like it is based on the G1 Four with more foot switches, USB interface and a new housing. I await the release of the B2 Four …
  6. Two sets of tuners for sale. 1. Schallers, SOLD 2. unbranded fender style tuners. No sign of use at all. They have been in my spares drawer for years. I can’t remember what they came off to be honest, probably a Mexican P bass. Same size as the Schallers above. £20 posted
  7. Really high quality compressor / limiter made in Japan. can do everything from low ratio smoothing to high ratio limiting. It is similar to the Boss LMB3 except it has a flat Eq response, no noise and has an internal charge pump so that it has very high headroom, meaning you don’t get that ‘crossing the threshold’ sound you get on the LMB3 with strong signals. In short it is a very high quality, well made tool. Not to be confused with Maxon’s other similarly named pedals (which I believe are more like a dyna comp design). This is the CP9 Pro+. Boxed, shipped within the uk for £120.
  8. To my mind this is the ultimate octave pedal. Not getting used here due to work commitments unfortunately so it has been in its box from new other than some recording and noodling at home from yours truly. £160 posted within the UK.
  9. Good advice. I am definitely lacking the tools and the skills to do it myself!
  10. Thanks for drawing that out, it’s really helped me visualise it. Im now wondering about a 4 string (con)version of a 5er!
  11. If you’ll indulge me… my all time favourite bass is a Stingray 5 for lots of good reasons, but the most superficial of them is that they just look amazing! Does anyone know if that kind of larger, angular scratch plate could be used on a 4 string ray too? I’d be happy to get one made. While I can find a lot to love about the regular 4 string stingray, I can’t get away with the look of the scratchplate and control plate. Yeah, this is trivial and superficial… but it’s basschat. If I had something more meaningful to do I’d be doing it instead of reading about bass guitars🤣
  12. Rock solid metal case, top mounted jacks, does the job it was designed to do. Great condition but no box. £35 posted.
  13. On the EBS Billy, what’s the crosssover frequency (roughly) between clean and dirt? And does the user have control over that? Cheers
  14. This track has some awesome bass on it, courtesy of a certain Stuart Zender. I heard it in the pub and was like, “Have Jamioroquai got a new track out?!?”” It’s Zenderfied for sure. Anyone else like it or, like me, nerding out over which Octave and fuzz combo he is using???
  15. I'd have to say the terribly uncool Boss ME80 in manual mode is my most creative pedal because of the absence of screens, menus, settings, presets combined with the sheer number of possible sounds. Plug n play
  16. I used this as a multi effects pedal for home practice and recording as it has so much in such a small (and shiny yellow) box. Has a headphone amp, aux in, noise gate, USB interface, loads of ammo’s and effects and I used the effects block as a always on HPF and LPF. You can of course use in all kinds of ways. The synth options are there too but although the pickup is included it looks to me to be for 6 string guitar only. None the less, it’s a very useful box with bass amps and effects built in. Very good condition, includes box, power supply, GK pick up and all the necessary bits, owners manual. £250 plus postage.
  17. No boxes or manuals I’m afraid. Filter Twin is sold.
  18. One factor is that amplifying guitar is easy, so simple tech works well enough. Bass frequencies present more problems in all kinds of ways and so there have been more reasons to want advanced tech.
  19. Clearing out my Aguilar pedals as they aren’t getting used. Filter Twin, SOLD Octamiser, £SOLD TLC Compressor, £SOLD Fuzzistor, £SOLD All in good condition. Postage to be added.
