Orange bass butler?

This track has some awesome bass on it, courtesy of a certain Stuart Zender. I heard it in the pub and was like, “Have Jamioroquai got a new track out?!?”” It’s Zenderfied for sure. Anyone else like it or, like me, nerding out over which Octave and fuzz combo he is using???

I'd have to say the terribly uncool Boss ME80 in manual mode is my most creative pedal because of the absence of screens, menus, settings, presets combined with the sheer number of possible sounds. Plug n play

I used this as a multi effects pedal for home practice and recording as it has so much in such a small (and shiny yellow) box. Has a headphone amp, aux in, noise gate, USB interface, loads of ammo’s and effects and I used the effects block as a always on HPF and LPF. You can of course use in all kinds of ways. The synth options are there too but although the pickup is included it looks to me to be for 6 string guitar only. None the less, it’s a very useful box with bass amps and effects built in. Very good condition, includes box, power supply, GK pick up and all the necessary bits, owners manual. £250 plus postage. -

One factor is that amplifying guitar is easy, so simple tech works well enough. Bass frequencies present more problems in all kinds of ways and so there have been more reasons to want advanced tech.

Sadly I won’t be there but I’ve always been curious about those things. Your positive review probably means I’ll no longer be able to resist buying one to try it out🤦♂️ In all honesty I’ve yet to be disappointed by anything with a Peavey logo on it.

Two Neo Sica drivers for sale. One is totally unused, 16ohm, Model Z006902. £50+ postage. One is extremely politely used at low volume only in a combo, 8ohm. Model Z006900, £40+ postage. They are basically the same driver (Z0069xx) just different impedance models. They’re the ones Ashdown used in their NEO range from about 10yr ago. Theyre in proper speaker shipping boxes and will be packed well for safe transit.-

indeed, good job their amps are better than the accuracy of their website! I’ve had similar experiences but all ended well once plugged in and playing instead of reading! Hope it goes well. I’d also be interesting hear what you think of what looks like a peavey VIP / vyper amp?

Anyone know of anything like the Tecamp Bona Fide that is still being made? What is rare about it is that it’s a bass amp that does full stereo amplification of L and R channels. What’s out there? Thanks all.

Would adding a switch for the 2nd cab's tweeter help? In my experience one tweeter , if allowed to, can keep up with two woofers. You just switch off the tweeter in the bottom cab. ... I am no expert.

They don’t appear to have a tweeter so I was thinking they may be a bit dark, or at least lacking the crispness and clarity of a cab with a tweeter. What is the top end like?? thanks.

This is from the 2014 Neo range, the 1x15 combo. The sales pitch from Ashdown is that it offers the ABM preamp with custom shop cab, neo drivers and a light weight 400w power amp. I modified it by putting in a proper crossover which works a treat, crossing over at 3.5khz and fitted a switch for the horn. It is easy to move, practically unused and pretty much delivers on Ashdown’s promise of a portable, powerful combo. price is £300. Pickup is preferred but if you want to organise a courier to collect it for you I am happy to hand it over to them in strong packaging. Also, I am in South Northumberland but can deliver most places within even a few hours drive of Newcastle if you pay in advance and cover fuel costs.
