    A custom bass is a very personal thing. I owned and sold on a graft bass of ACG and instantly ordered a custom J from Alan at ACG. The communication and advice was top notch, as I new what I wanted it to look like but as I'm a bit short on tech knowledge Alan was able to advise what electronics would give me the sound I wanted. Safe to say it was flawlessly built and arrived earlier than agreed in the build plan. I enjoyed playing it for some months before money was needed urgently for something at home and as I had nothing left to sell it had to go. I often beat myself up about selling it and if it came out for sale again I'd like to be in a position to buy it back but since it was such a beauty it likely won't happen. Beautiful blood red body finish and swirly maple fretboard. Lovely. I have no experience of any other luthiers but I would go with Alan at ACG again no problem. Top bloke.

    Thanks for the input. Kinda confirmed what i thought, but since its the first rack setup im goin with i thought id ask.

    Ok I'm wanting to rack mount a little mark III and I don't know if I'm better with a standard depth rack case or a shallow one. Along with it in the case will be a tuner, an eq and hopefully eventually a Sansamp rbi. It would appear that a shallow case is just about maybe deep enough but is a larger case a better option ? Any advice welcome.

    I've never play berg but I own a supertwin and a 2x10 from barefaced. These are both 4ohms and are a real one cab solution to a bulk and weight problem. The 2x10 is resident in a place I play every Sunday and the supertwin goes everywhere else with me yet can be soft enough to play in the living room without annoying the neighbours.

    Zoom B3 multi effects. Does what it says on the tin/box, very well. Great piece of kit which I bought intending to use to boost my sound a bit but a newly bought bass rig leaves it surplus to requirements. Might as well be being used by someone else. Power supply included but the instructions were absent when I acquired it. Instructions are readily available online to keep on hand on your tablet or phone; it's so simple to use they are not really needed if the truth be told. Price includes postage to UK only.

    I had one of these and they are one of the loudest combos ive ever played. If you wanna be heard in a small light package they are the perfect weapon. Glwts

    Got the new amp and cab a wee run out tonight. Cant believe how easy it is too be very loud and very clear without cranking the dial very far. Really impressed with this. I was concerned that I shud have stretched to the 800 watt markbass amp but theres more than enough from this. Id reccommend it

    New supertwin barefaced and Little mark 1xcab solution for a space based problem. Safe to say i was grinning when test driving this after being encouraged to play it loud when its new to loosen everything up.
