Perfect buyer. Tells you he's going to buy - transfers the cash - and that's that! No u-turns, back-flips or bullshit. If only everyone on BC was like Jim!

Well mine's not going anywhere. I am surprised at the prices these are now going for. I ordered a pair of custom Fiesta Red 62's when these reissues came out (I asked for - and they arrived with - consecutive serial numbers). I'd hate to think what they would be worth now if I'd kept hold of them.

I've owned the following lightweight amps - GB shuttle 6, EA micro 300, EA iamp500, AI Clarus, GB Neo-Pak, WW Ultra, RH450, MB LMK, SA450, LMII and F500. I'd be happy to have any of them again apart from the EA's. Having said that I spent this morning with an Ibanez P5110 (with the P500H head) and given the head price of £360, and the fact that it apparently has a 5 year warranty, I'd be tempted to go that route. The only thing the head doesn't have is an effects send/return, and if you overdrive the input it can produce a hell of a thud (phase reversal?), but soundwise it's fine. Tried the head through an EA MLine, and it sounds like a mix of a NeoPak and RH450, so no problems there.
I thought these basses were only made in the 80's not 6 years ago? I had one in white, nice bass. I still own a BB1000S which is one of the best basses I have. edit: now I see it is Japanese RI of the 80's BB3000. It has different pickups and also different electronics and knob configuration and bridge then the 80's one. So it is a different bass altogether. Didn't know there was a RI. Are those the same pickups as on a BB414? they look the same but considering the price I doubt if they are the same.
Before writing a comment like that in a for sale thread you really should try and get your facts correct! I have an 1982 BB3000 and it has the same pups/knobs/bridge as this. You may be thinking of the BB3000s, which has similar pups/bridge but V/V/T controls (and a slimmer neck), or possibly the Korean built BB3000 basses which have different pups (at least three different versions)/bridges (at least two variants) and are almost always active (BB3000A, BB3000AF etc). As far as I know the BB3000 never went out of production (the passive version may have), but it was manufactured outside Japan for a while. The Japanese ones have not been marketed outside of Japan for the best part of 20 years, although they could be imported from the likes of Ishibashi. And no - this is not the same pups as the ones in the BB6xx/4xx/7xx
(it was an ex-Beedster bass)
I thought all used Fenders were ex-Beedster or ex-Clarky

I've an 82 (or it might be 83 - I can't remember off hand) Fullerton '57 reissue. I've been looking for a UK value of these with a view to possibly selling. It's payed all the time so it isn't a collectors piece, but it is in nice condition for a nitro finished guitar (ie some surface crazing but no missing finish). What would be a sensible guide price?
Before you get me running scared I think it means that the transformer is putting out 120V so the primary should be able to accept any voltage
No, I think yours is a US import that has been converted to operate at 240V. You should actually check that it has the correct fuse for 240V operation, and not the original (higher current rated) one.
