1. I'm surprised there's no interest in this - when they come up for sale in the US they are snapped up in no time. Look at the features: Bass, Middle and Treble tone control Full parametric (freq, bandwidth and level) tone control (can be switched in or out via phono jack) Full pass output (from and rear) Low pass output with freq and level control High pass output with freq and level control Send and return each with level control Balanced DI with level control (and ground lift option) Headphone output with level control Built like a brick outhouse What more would you want?

3. As new - £100 + shipping. Get the full spec from the audere website, part number JZ3 VB 3B.
4. Yamaha PB-1 preamp. These were originally sold in the 80's and early 90's and have quite a following, and it's easy to see why. Build quality is superb (the unit will outlive the buyer). Used by the likes of Tony Levin, Jeff Berlin, Billy Sheehan and JJ Burnel. Good cosmetic condition, everything works as it should. 110V unit, so you'll need to budget for a low power 240/110 adapter (available on ebay for under £4). Looking for £75 plus postage.
5. Sunday go-to-meeting bun(mp)
6. Just completed a Yamaha bass trade with Martin, and he was a pleasure to deal with.
7. Very interesting. Are they redundant following your recent Japanese acquisitions?
8.
Ceramic capacitors are designed to be used for supply decoupling, where you want to remove any high frequency noise on a supply line, they were never designed to pass quality audio. The best choice for audio is polypropylene, you will get most values you need for guitar use in a polyprop capacitor.
What a load of crap. Either will be fine.
9. Drilling the body for (Fender) covers will not affect the resale value.
10. It'll be a B neck - a spread of a couple of mm in the width is normal. Jazz necks of this era are 11/2" nominal.
11. 100% original apart from the bits that aren't. Can't argue with that...
12. Stormy Monday bump.
13. You should add 'bass' to the title of your ebay auction - anyone doing a generic Yamaha bass search will miss it.
14. I'd be happy to relic it for another £200. I'm a dab hand with the Black & Decker.
15. Withdrawn (again!)
16. Yes, there's lot's of love for these on the FDP. In fact I'm having second thoughts.
17. Lot's of interest in this one - it look's as if it's going to someone with the playing skills to do it justice...
18. Back up for sale - I want to sell either this or the AS jazz. If one goes I'll withdraw the other.
19. Thanks for the offer - only looking to sell!
20. This bass was bought new by Clarky, and spent some time with Beedster before coming to stay with me. It's simply one of the best Jazz basses I've played. Beedster wrote this review [post="571721"]Jazz bass review[/post] which pretty much sums it up. It's in perfect condition. It will come with an SKB-4 hard case rather than the TSA one (unless I get the TSA one back before this sells). Looking for £675 + shipping, and am not after any trades. Happy to ship to Northern European and Scandinavian countries.
21. Nice bass - but does it really need a bump after 5 hours?
22. This is a superb bass. You will not see a better example. Owned new from new by me and in immaculate condition. I had a 57AV before I bought this which I sold since this had comparable build quality and tone. It also has probably the best quarter sawn neck I've ever seen (see the pictures). Happy to ship to Northern Europe and Scandinavian countries as well as the UK. Will ship in a hard case. £450 + shipping. I'm not looking for any trades.
