1.
Hi, what age and condition are they? Thanks, Paul.
They are genuine Fender ones, about a year old. They are like new (only fitted to a bass for a couple of days).
 2. A set of jazz chrome "F" bridge and pickup covers (mint condition)- £[s]25 [/s] £20 shipped.
 3. There's really no need to bump 3 times a day ...
 4.
Fit like, [s]Mike[/s] Ann?
Sorted it for you.
 5. PM me if you're interested (and are in the UK).

 7. [topic="136881"]Try one of these...[/topic]
 8. Bump.
 9. Just been trading at clarky's bass emporium, and as always it's been a pleasure to deal with him!
 10.
The fact that you had 3 that were, for want of a better word...duff.....makes me wonder if I want one now...
Well, TBH I probably could have lived with any of them if it wasn't for the fact that a mate has one which is almost totally silent (and which sounds great). I would still like one, but am not going to settle for one that isn't as quiet as it could be.
 11.
Had a reply and they say they dont have stock....have a look on their Ebay site though and they say they do.... For those that have mentioned Thomann......I have used Thomann before...not a pleasant experience. I bought a (nearly £900) dac off them, advertised in stock, but that wasnt the case, after the wait, when it eventually arrived it was obviously a used or returned item, the packaging was an obvious clue and one of the inputs (toslink) was busted. The return process was painless enough but that was the only part of the transaction they got right. I swore there and then I wouldnt use them again. Dont get me wrong here...I aint trying to have a dig or anything, I'm just left totally confused about the way people conduct their business.......I'm prepared to pay the price for a NEW item that hasnt seen the light of day since it left the manufacturers. I think I'll pass until I can lay my sticky mitts on something suitable. Many thanks for all replies and for the advice...its given me plenty to think about.
Thomann are great to deal with. I ordered a P5110 from them which was noisier than I was prepared to live with. They replaced it no questions asked. The second one also wasn't quite right, so again they replaced it. The third one wasn't any better that the first two so I gave up and asked for a refund which they were quite happy to do. I don't think things would have been so easy with most UK retailers.
 12. Bump (and price reduction)
 13. Tenner my arse, it'll be more like £20. Are your payment details same as last time?
 14. If you're happy to post I'll have it ...

 16. Here are some pictures - the cab would pass for new, there is no damage at all to the finish or the grill.

 18.
Depending on how original you want to keep it and how much room you have on the G how about getting the bridge moved back a touch??
I've done that in the past a couple of times, by drilling new mounting holes on a new Fender bridge. The first bass I did it on as fine, but on the second one I had to weld a little extension onto the bridge and use a longer screw on the G saddle. If I was doing this again on one of my own basses I'd just make a new bridge baseplate but with the rear edge a 1/3 to 1/2 inch further back than the original.
 19.
Yes I know .... Beedster no p*ss taking please.
Fixed it for you
 20. Easter bump...
 21.
Tried another, same thing. The whole section where the lead goes in moves! Away from the chassis!
Oh, that's a bummer.
 22.
SLIGHTEST touch to the power lead and it all shuts off and crackles.
It's almost certain that it's just a dodgy lead causing that to happen.
 23. I think they look pretty crap to be honest, the mat finish looks nothing like any vintage bass I've ever seen. Having said that every jazz one I've played has been a cracker. I notice that the bodies are thinner than the normal Fender models (as is the headstock) - I wonder if that has improved the sound?
